Nice one, and could have a character named, of course, Sam
You know, If we want SAM to succeed we have to market It a bit.

Anyone knows a javascript library that can translate sensor movements (gyro, acc and magnetometer) into position?

SAM is a pattern and It can be implemented in any language, right know is focused on javascript, and also more focused in frontend, It would be better is every part is explained carefully without orienting it to the frontend but as a general purpose software design pattern. Or is SAM only focused to frontend?

no it is not, however, it works very well for front end
I also published an API orchestration library
I also published last month a SAM based Alexa SDK, it works well for conversational computing
