@radosavljevic for my personal projects, I am really happy with vanilla.js, Mithril looks nice, @mfeitoza wrote a nice sample https://jsfiddle.net/mfeitoza/pvdLkny7/
The part I like most about Angular2 is the pub/sub connection between the State Representation and the view components. It really helps control the "reaction" to state changes and keep the state representation as a set of properties. Angular2 does its magic to update the DOM swiftly based on its change detection mechanism. Beyond that Angular2 offers some great tooling (angular-cli and protractor are amazing).

TypeScript is also quite nice. I never felt overwhelmed like with traditional OO languages.

@jdubray what about the argument that pro-react folks are making that Angular 2 is hard to debug? In React when you get an error you know where to look (a specific component or in case you have redux connected components you can just track changes to the store and see what action were dispatched before/after)? TypeScript is great and I'll be using it for the web app but I'm not sure how it integrates with the hybrid mobile app frameworks, need to check that out.
