    Yeah, too late. I will create a Doodle for Jenkins
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    so feedburner keeps crossing the streams for my personal blog and the jenkins blog (both linked from my google account)
    I just published a personal blog post which should be published shortly, but if it ends up on @jenkinsci please delete it if you see it
    or holler at me goestoeat
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    yep, damnit it did it again
    technology huh!
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    for a product that Google literally has made zero improvements on in over 5 years, it's amazing how they consistently break it
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    yeah :(
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    I think they have data integrity issues, iirc they ported this to firebase or something and did a shit job of it
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    @rtyler would it make sense to disable the Jenkins feedburner publishing entirely? We do not publish blogposts so often, and handcrafted tweets look to be getting more traction
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    I'm fine with it if y'all are fine with it
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    We've been managing tweets manually for a while while feeburner was deactivated, and the process seems to be working quite well (with review in the chat)
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    Undead service
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    the feature is supposed to be dead? ahuh
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    That's why I was surprised to see automatic tweets to be back a few weeks ago
    Tracy Miranda
    @tracymiranda
    zombie tweets, anything goes!
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    it doesn't appear that I can actually disable this feature lololololol
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    We could just change the jenkinsci password, right? Or how does it integrate?
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    yeah, it's an app, I'll go revoke it's permissions
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    :+1:
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    hahaha, these apps represent such an unspoken history of my time managing this
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    It was a great time :+1:
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    turses, Choqok, Twimbow, POlly
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    I am probably too young to recognize all these apps :P
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    okay, revoked everything but Tweetdeck and Mobile Web
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    Thanks!
    FTR I really consider doing SocialMedia-as-code for Jenkins at some point. There are projects for Twitter, Reddit, FB and other stuff, so we could glue it together. Poor man's IFTTT
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    I think it's a good idea, not because I think it will make life easier, but because I think it will help coordination
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    exactly
    Also, it will help others to get reposts easily. Once it is done, we can poke maintainers about just submitting PRs. More content, maybe
    Tracy Miranda
    @tracymiranda
    Also @rtyler when you get a chance adding twitter contributors to https://analytics.twitter.com/user/jenkinsci/home account as 'organic analysts' would be great to get insights into which tweets do well
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    What do we want to post on LinkedIn first? The CDF blog or the jenkins.io one?
    Tracy Miranda
    @tracymiranda
    (current twitter contributors are @tracymiranda @oleg_nenashev @markyjackson5 and @markewaite)
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    @tracymiranda just made you an analytics account administrator there, do what you gotta do
    Tracy Miranda
    @tracymiranda
    thank you!
    R. Tyler Croy
    @rtyler
    y'all have been doing really well this last couple months. Keep up the good work
    there are reasons I cannot publicly disclose which have been preventing active involvement at the moment
    Tracy Miranda
    @tracymiranda
    thanks for saying so @rtyler - the recent team effort has felt good - fun to be part of. Ah good to know - whenever the situation allows we'll be happy to have you back and active
    whenever the situation permits
    am definitely liking the extra hands and built in redundancy in this area
    @oleg-nenashev @MarkEWaite you should be able to see twitter analytics now - maybe we can share a report/analysis at next outreach meeting if we have the bandwidth to do so...
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    +1 to what Tracy says, @rtyler . You are always welcome in the community, whether you actively contribute or not.
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev

    LinkedIn post draft, referencing the CDF blogpost. CC @tracymiranda @MarkEWaite . I can also fit in one of the quotes into the text. Maybe the KK's quote or one from users?

    _We are happy to announce that the Jenkins project has achieved the graduated status in the Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF). Jenkins is the first project to graduate in the foundation.

    To move from the maturity level of incubation to graduation, a project needs to demonstrate growing adoption, an open governance process, feature maturity, and a strong commitment to community, sustainability, and inclusivity. Jenkins has met all of these criteria. Thanks to all contributors who made our graduation possible!_

    @tracymiranda
    lgtm +1 to any of those quotes that fit
    Mark Waite
    @MarkEWaite
    +1 from me. Quotes from KK are always well received.
    Oleg Nenashev
    @oleg-nenashev
    Will put the KK's one
    user ones could go separately
