    @shysteph
    it shows up in the UI, and as a file in directory in jobs/MYPROJECT/branches/develop/builds/
    the GitCheckoutListener finds the previous build just fine
    which is even more annoying
    Stephanie Miller
    @shysteph
    in each build.xml <buildsByBranchName> has only one BuildData entry but that seems reasonable
    jobs/MYPROJECT/branches/develop/permalinks has the right build numbers in it

    do you have scm-revision-hash.xml
    file?
    Stephanie Miller
    @shysteph
    yeah
    and scm-last-seen-revision-hash.xml
    tario
    @patrick:matrix.tario.org
    [m]
    hmm, and they both look good I guess
    Stephanie Miller
    @shysteph
    plus nextBuildNumber with the right number in it
    they do assuming they are supposed to look like the details of a commit
    tario
    @patrick:matrix.tario.org
    [m]
    hmm, then honestly I have no clue, I'm using bb server and have never encountered this
    Stephanie Miller
    @shysteph
    we migrated to cloud and as part of it moved to multibranch and using pull requests and all of a sudden changelogs broke
    Ive spent close to a week on it
    thanks for your help though. good to know I am not crazy and it should work.
    I am very tempted to create a second project with just a single branch using the other bitbucket plugin for just our develop branch

    I think the other bitbucket plugin (from atlassian) doesn't support bitbucket cloud
    Stephanie Miller
    @shysteph
    that might be why I changed it. I migrated our org over a month ago and gave up on this one part

    how are you doing the checkout in your multibranch pipeline? There's some options to suppress changelog, maybe that might be something to look into
    Stephanie Miller
    @shysteph
    I didn't see an option for that. I'll look more
    at the very bottom
    Stephanie Miller
    @shysteph
    ill try checking out a second time from my jenkinsfile with that set. never understood until now why you would even want to do that with a declarative pipeline. thanks
    are you building on your master or on other nodes? I am suddenly suspicious I am being punished for bad behavior

    is there any way to update the server id of bitbucket in Jenkins
    i'm trying to have different environments for Jenkins and Bitbucket but using the same pipelines (i need this for scripted syntax and JobDSL)

    Hi Guys, need your assistance - I have an old Jenkins configured with Bitbucket Branch source plugin that include all my projects in BitBucket - Attached screenshot from Jenkins.
    We are moving to new jenkins working with JcasC, I'm trying to configure the same as the old jenkins and don't know how to configure multiple BitBucket folders like the old jenkins - right now I succeeded to create one that include all the projects - The same as the example in Jscac github repo - https://github.com/jenkinsci/configuration-as-code-plugin/blob/fd9376d5bc424d6e2b874407e3ea7e4591681789/demos/jobs/bitbucket.yaml
    Someone can assist me how to create multiple projects? which lines do I need to copy and duplicate with some changes?

    Hi All
    I want to use skipNotification in groovy.. can someone help me?

    on this

    <com.cloudbees.jenkins.plugins.bitbucket.notifications.SkipNotificationsTrait plugin="skip-notifications-trait@1.0.5"/>
    </traits>

    Sickafant
    @Sickafant
    By groovy do you mean JobDSL? I use skipNotification in Job DSL like so:
    multibranchPipelineJob('job') {
      branchSources {
        branchSource {
          source {
            bitbucket {
              repoOwner('project-key')
              repository('repo-name')
              serverUrl("https://bitbucket-url.com")
              credentialsId('bitbucket-creds')
              traits {
                bitbucketBranchDiscovery {
                  strategyId(1) // Exclude branches that are also filed as PRs
                }
                bitbucketSshCheckout {
                  credentialsId('bitbucket-creds-ssh')
                }
                // Don't report build to bitbucket
                skipNotifications()
              }
            }
          }
        }
      }
    }

    Hi Team, I am trying to delete a Bitbucket Pull Request build status using the Bitbucket API. The reason is there's 2 builds for same commit from different PRs (one failed) which is blocking the merge

    DELETE /rest/api/1.0/projects/{project}/repos/{repo}/commits/{commitId}/builds?key=<key>

    But I end up getting a 404, so I'm suspecting my key is in a wrong format.

    I am trying to figure out what the key is supposed to be. Since it's a PR (coming from a fork if it matters), I was thinking the key would be the foldername/branch as per this logic

    So, if the build url is, https://myjenkins/job/ORGFOLDER/job/REPO/view/change-requests/job/PR-62/1/console, shouldn't the build key be REPO/PR-62?

    Hoping someone can point me to the right direction. I don't think this API call is logged anywhere where I can pull the key from.

    Ref: Bitbucket API

    Thanks

    Hi, someone know how to edit the "discard old items" with jcasc?
    tario

    I do it as part of the pipeline
    The properties step allows this

    What about this parameter? Is there an option to disable it not in the UI?

    Hi,
    Someone know how to disable branch indexing at startup time? it takes couple of hours to jenkins to go live
    I'm using Jenkins latest version, jenkins helm chart latest version, latest plugins
    running on k8s

    I am running Jenkins 2.346.1 on a centOs Server and using bitbucket cloud. Jenkins is running in a docker container and served with apache. I can add a simple pipeline and add one repository as scm source with the url. But i am not able to add a multibranch pipeline project with bitbucket as branch source. I added my credentials (username + app password) and choose the following username: ~simon_symhoven. But i get the error "Error while loading repositories from cache" . If I use not my private username but a team name (owner: aenteam), i get "Could not find: aenteam". It woul be great if someone could help me, thanks in advance!

    When bitbucket branch source plugin is used when configuring the multibranch job. I observed that for pull-request build, the declarative pipeline jobs can automatically checkout source branch and target branch and merge it and build it, whereas this process has to be coded in scripted pipeline. Has anyone done this process for Scripted pipeline for Pull-request build using the branch source plugin bitbucket?

    Hey, can someone take a look at jenkinsci/bitbucket-branch-source-plugin#654
    I would appreciate code review.
