    hi. where can I request support?
    no email - contact form appears on the main hacktoberfest website. I am wondering if anyone could help me, I made a PR on Gitlab, the repo is tagged hacktoberfest but on the main website it doesn't appear. any clues?

    The maintainers usually help out with the issues here
    so, I guess they'll help you out soon

    dag7: there's a lot to unpack there. Are you asking about hacktoberfest in general? they have a discord on https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com/ you can ask for help with. If your asking about jenkns. I'm not aware of any jenkins gitlab repos.
    I do believe that PRs take some time to show up on the site, its not instantanious

    Is there any python help needed for Jenkins open source?

    I don‘t think that we are using python somewhere. I think we even removed the plug-in runtime for python.

    Ulli Hafner: i wish, it got mega in merge red tape, so the removal never happened, but no new python stuff

    RE: Python. Maybe https://github.com/topics/hacktoberfest?l=python&q=jenkins One jenkins-zh repo there. Everything else is "outside" projects

    jenkins-zh is technically an outside project too
    i didn't know you could search like that

    Hi, I noticed that one of the plugins (working-hours) in the sheet does not have a directory in the plugins-wiki-docs repo. The plugins page has a link to the plugin-wiki-docs repo which results in 404. Is there a place where I can edit the plugin's page?
    halkeye

    @avinashupadhya99: working hours needs https://github.com/jenkinsci/working-hours-plugin/blob/master/pom.xml#L19 updated then a release to happen

    @MarkEWaite: oh ho ho. I see how it is Mark. Lure them in with how fun pull requests are, then ask them to be maintainers.
    Mark Waite
    @MarkEWaite
    😊 Yes, that's the idea. I think that many people don't realize how low effort is required to adopt a plugin and make a useful, real, and relevant contribution to the plugin. If someone adopts a plugin and only spends a few minutes a month on it, that is still more time than was being spent as an abandoned plugin.

    I did a couple of doc migration PRs here - jenkinsci/seleniumhtmlreport-plugin#6 and jenkinsci/publish-over-cifs-plugin#15, now onto some core contributions!

    In one of the docs I migrated, I noticed there were references to localhost. The publish-over-cifs has references to localhost. Should I fix them? I could not find a similar deployed version for the plugin wiki, can anyone please let me know what change should I do for the localhost references or is it fine?

    @halkeye:g4v.dev the pull request ( jenkinsci/publish-over-plugin#11 ) from @avinashupadhya99 has been merged to the publish-over plugin. Since publish-over was converted to docs as code a while ago, will that new documentation become available on https://plugins.jenkins.io/publish-over/ without a new release of the plugin or do I need to find someone that can release that plugin?

    releases are needed to change <url> in the pom (or any other pom changes). Update center has some overrides of those urls in those properties, but afaik db prefers the release method. I'm not sure though
    Mark Waite
    @MarkEWaite
    No change in the pom for that pull request, so there is some hope that the docs change may appear the next time the site is processed. Thanks. I'll check in 24 hours to see if it has been updated

    @oleg-nenashev
    Release is needed by default. I would advice against shipping documentation override without a release @MarkEWaite

    That's great @halkeye:g4v.dev . Confirmed that the documentation migrated to GitHub for that plugin is available from the plugin site API call that you referenced. That's ideal. Thanks very much!

    Confirmed that the documentation update from @avinashupadhya99 is now visible on plugins.jenkins.io. Thanks very much!
