    Hi, I am using HTML Publisher plugin to display test results report as HTML. the tests run-time is about 4 hours and the HTML report is been updated with the tests results during running. I have the first part of test results after an hour and I want to display it. I want to refresh the report view during running. when I run both tasks in parallel I get duplication of reports when I wanted just to update the existing report view.
    any idea how to solve it?

    I am trying to publish HTML reports for each build but when it publishes my reports on their build page (using keepAll=true), it creates copies of reports from all previous builds in each build directory. So, each Jenkins build includes many copies of old reports and they are bigger and bigger. If I publish my reports on the project page (using keepAll=false), old reports are preserved in their project directory (in my file system) but only the last report is accessible from Jenkins. Is there any way how to have reports on their build pages without creation of their duplicates? Maybe, there is some parameter that I'm still missing.
    Please, can anybody help?

    @rivky9505 this should work in a Jenkinsfile/Pipeline. there the publishing task is not a post-build only task (iirc). So you can incrementally upload test reports (not sure whether only the delta needs to be uploaded or entire reports each time)
    We facing the issue that a download dialog opens everytime we click the "test-results" link in the job page to get redirected to the html based report. Any idea how we can disable the download pop-up? (Already checked file permissions in job folder on jenkins master)

    This would depend on what configuration you are using - if the index page is set to index.html that is what will get displayed and its expected that that page would link to the other archived ones.

    Hi all,

    I am facing an issue in HTML publisher plugin, it's unable to play the video.

    I have tried many options in content security policy, not sure which one is blocking the video to be played

    Please go through my question in StackOverflow, any help is appreciated. I was stuck here for 2 months.

    Hi
    I'm publishing two html reports with publishHtml in a jenkinsfile:

                publishHTML (target: [
                    allowMissing: false,
                    alwaysLinkToLastBuild: false,
                    keepAll: true,
                    reportDir: 'Testing/report/html',
                    reportFiles: 'index.html',
                    reportName: "Testreport"
                ])
                publishHTML (target: [
                    allowMissing: false,
                    alwaysLinkToLastBuild: false,
                    keepAll: true,
                    reportDir: 'Testing/report/html',
                    reportFiles: 'Summary.html',
                    reportName: "Summary"
                ])

    files and everything is copied. link for the first one is created, link for the second one is not. both steps are marked successful. any hints?

    This used to work (even if it is not perfect) but i now moved to a different jenkins master (running on java11 and updated the plugin)

    r2b2nz Can you please raise a ticket on https://issues.jenkins.io and include information such as what version of Jenkins and also the version of the HTML publisher plugin? There was a recent release so not sure if this is related or not.

    @rompic
    seems as if this was fixed again in the latest release. see https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-64310

    I have a question about html publisher plugin, I have a jenkinsfile for a testing job, and at the end of it, I use the following to generate the HTML report, however, somehow if the job never has any success build, the front page test report link never shows up, and it will only show when the jobs has at least one success run, I thought this should be resolved by set alwaysLinkToLastBuild and keepAll to true, but somehow it's not working for my job.
    dir("test_folder/${env.BUILD_TAG}/test_folder/") {
    publishHTML([allowMissing: false, alwaysLinkToLastBuild: true, keepAll: true, reportDir: '.',
    reportFiles: reportFilesString,
    reportName: reportName,
    reportTitles: reportTitlesString])
    }
    Anyone has any idea?

    Hi, thanks for the wonderful plugin. We have a use case, we want to know if an enhancement to the plugin would be possible to support our case: we use the same job (pipeline) to validate both feature branches and the trunk (the branch is passed as a parameter).

    We would like to have the job page to always link the published htmls from the builds for the trunk but never for the builds for feature branches. We've tried to not publish htmls from the feature branches builds, but then the job page shows no htmls at all (unlinks everything).

    Please let me know if this makes sense and an enhancement to the plugin would be acceptable. Thanks!
