Hello folks, i'm python/ netcore developer.

I would like to start to colaborate with jenkins comunity. so, i have a question, can i run jenkins directly from IntelliJ ?

if yes, how can i do it? (im new with java and maven, etc )

@EltonAlvess Do you want to develop Jenkins plugins or the core itself? The flows are a bit different
@EltonAlvess For plugins you could start from this guide: https://wiki.jenkins.io/display/JENKINS/Plugin+tutorial . There are links to running plugins from IDE.

Is it possible to let Jenkins pipeline only discover a new branch but not build. I would like to trigger the build manually.
