    @krisstern:matrix.org where Jenkins version 2.324 is stated in pom.xml .. its fine for me if u use 2.324 or latest Jenkins version as well. i am also using java 11.0.14 and jenkins 2.319.2...
    i am trying to build .hpi file of plugin then planning to push on the server where jenkins is running

    I think the latest one will be fine, it is just that I have been using 2.324 for another plugin and haven't upgraded yet

    I updated the versions of the packages for the dependencies
    Used the JQuery 3 API plugin instead of the original one

    Welcome, hopefully it works to some extent like it did no my machine. I built it with the command 
    mvn hpi:run

    @krisstern:matrix.org i am running below commands: 1. mvn verify 2. mvn hpi:run 3. target folder will be created and then i will copy the hpi file to jenkins server at plugins folder path.. i hope i am doing correct

    And @NehaMittal3010 I don't think I used Step 3: "...target folder will be created and then i will copy the hpi file to jenkins server at plugins folder path". All I did was replacing the pom.xml file, and then run mvn hpi:run.
