Hey @jenius, I'm having trouble getting an extension I'm toying with to export variables to locals so other pages can use them. I've looked at the dynamic content extension but I can't really work out the point at which this happens.
How would I create a hardcoded local variable just so I can understand how it works?

Also is it possible to get roots to create multiples of the same file at the before_file stage? I know it can be done at the write_file stage, but I'm wanting to make significant changes to the contents of each copy.

I'm trying to write something to handle compiled pagination, turns out it's a lot harder than I think hah.

@monkeez you can hit up `@roots.config.locals` to add them
and you should be able to, you can pass different contents through the write hook

oh hey @monkeez - so for the second question you asked I definitely didnt answer that right
what you are proposing is essentially being able to split a single input file into different outputs early in the process
this is something that we have been thinking about for a while, as a part of an internationalization plugin
however it is quite a complex operation internally, so we don’t have support for it yet
but we will eventually!
