@BradMcGonigle yes sir, swig is supported by accord - install using npm then use .swig as the extension
nunjucks we had a PR open for, but it kind of fizzled out

would be happy to accept a contribution

hi jenius
was wondering if there is a way to configure a multilingual site

all of my jade templates already pick up on a language variable so the localisation works great but I'm planning a site with each language in a different subdomain:
german.mysite.com
english.mysite.com

say I have in my views folder something like
views
—german
—english

and my have two public folders
public_german
public_english

if i do
public
—german
—english
once i move each to the subdomain the paths to the images etc will be all wrong

not sure how I can configure this
any ideas would be greatly appreciated
should do the trick

Does anybody now if it's possible to use front matter and the variables in it directly in views? If have no specific posts or page folder as every page is very special and I would like to just define the variables in the head of view, as I use every view as one single page (partials are separated)?

I need help creating a loop in Jade syntax for each post in contentful.post, so that I only preview a small # of posts on a home page . Something like (var i = 0; i < 5; ++i). Any assistance?

Anyone have a recommendation for how to serve jade templates conditionally by browser? specifically mobile vs desktop. Trying to figure out the best approach within the roots setup

any specific reason why use that instead of media queries?

I need to render a desktop wrapper for users who visit on desktop

basically they ask us to insert their desktop html for desktop users and then we build whatever we’re hired to build within that area on desktop, and we’re free to do what we want on mobile. does that make sense?

Hi guys, I'm a newbie. have a site I had been working under codekit and migrating to Roots.
My template files are in a floder called layour and my content (jade) files are in views
and I've tried
'''
module.exports =
ignores: ['readme.md', '/_.', '/', '**/_.jade', '.gitignore', 'ship.conf', '**/layout/','/' , 'layout/.','/layout/.', '/layout', 'layout/','/layout/', 'layout/','/layout/*',]
'''
not sure why watch still goes into my layourts folder and starts processing the files
they even all have a beginning _underscore
'''
module.exports =
ignores: ['readme.md', '/.', '/', '**/.jade', '.gitignore', 'ship.conf', '*/layout/','/' , 'layout/.','/layout/.', '/layout', 'layout/','/layout/', 'layout/','/layout/',]
'''
