Question: How can I conditionally add JS to a view?
My understanding of js_pipeline and its options does not cover the case where I only want a certain script output on a certain view?

Hello Ian ! What about just calling expected specific script in the specific view by including a old fashion script tag instead of != js(). This certainly means removing out js_pipeline's option to avoid bundling.

Yep, what @liitfr said above is the way to do it! No roots or plugin magic, just use a script tag when you need it
