trying to deploy using other means, getting this warning though even for dev build :

WARNING in DefinePlugin
Conflicting values for 'process.env.NODE_ENV'

unsure what causes that, I only see it defined once

Hi,

I have issue like that (Current jhipster version 7.0.0)

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unable to serialize claims object to json: Unable to serialize object: Java 8 date/time type `java.time.Instant` not supported by default: add Module "com.fasterxml.jackson.
datatype:jackson-datatype-jsr310" to enable handling (through reference chain: io.jsonwebtoken.impl.DefaultClaims["subject"]->com.store.service.dto.SysUserDTO2["createdOn"])
        at io.jsonwebtoken.impl.DefaultJwtBuilder.compact(DefaultJwtBuilder.java:338)
  1. checked with default - JacksonConfiguration
  2. AdminCloudApp - with configuring ObjectMapper
  3. Annotation oveer Instant type
  4. application-dev.yml - config file (I can't find right configuration to add Instant serilizer on config file)
  5. checked with java version 8/9/11/15,

How to solve issue?

@kaffelmedhoussem:matrix.org
[m]
@CGarces: Angular yeah i made some changes

login(): void {
this.loginService
.login({
username: this.loginForm.get('username')!.value,
password: this.loginForm.get('password')!.value,
rememberMe: this.loginForm.get('rememberMe')!.value,
})
.subscribe(
() => {
this.authenticationError = false;
this.activeModal.close();
if (
this.router.url === '/account/register' ||
this.router.url.startsWith('/account/activate') ||
this.router.url.startsWith('/account/reset/')
) {
this.router.navigate(['/leads']);
}
},
() => (this.authenticationError = true)
);

// get user account
this.authSubscription = this.accountService.getAuthenticationState().subscribe(account => {
  this.account = account;
  if (this.account) {
    this.userRole = this.account.authorities[0];
    if (this.userRole === 'ROLE_ADMIN') {
      this.router.navigate(['/leads']);
    }
  }
});

}

Carlos Garcés
@CGarces
@kaffelmedhoussem:matrix.org So where is the problem?, looks like a valid code for me...
kaffel
@kaffelmedhoussem:matrix.org
[m]
yeah but it dosen t work
i don t know what is the problem
Carlos Garcés
@CGarces
Maybe you have a problem with the /leads route, not with the code, /leads exists?
My current code:
  login(): void {
    this.loginService
      .login({
        username: this.loginForm.get('username')!.value,
        password: this.loginForm.get('password')!.value,
        rememberMe: this.loginForm.get('rememberMe')!.value,
      })
      .subscribe(
        acount => {
          this.authenticationError = false;
          if (!this.router.getCurrentNavigation()) {
            // There were no routing during login (eg from navigationToStoredUrl)
            this.router.navigate(['']);
          }
          if (acount?.authorities.includes('ROLE_USER') && !acount.authorities.includes('ROLE_ADMIN')) {
            this.router.navigate(['/foo-bar']);
          }
        },
        () => (this.authenticationError = true)
      );
  }
Use .includes('ROLE_ADMIN') instead of evaluate only the firsts element.

I am trying to use filter option, not working for me. I have changed the entity by setting service to serviceClass or serviceImpl from no, and jpaMetamodelFiltering to trueupdate UNDER .jhipster folder. After re-generate with jhipster entity <entity name>. It re creates the json file and override jpaMetamodelFiltering . ALso in the console I see warning message "Not compatible with jpaMetamodelFiltering, disabling" ... Any thoughts?

Hi there! I'm pretty new to jhipster, and I got a project from another developer that gave up on developing this project.
So I went through the basic documentation, I installed generator-jhipster, yo, npm install, and when I issued the command ./mvnw I got this error message after a long time: https://dpaste.org/aWXU
What am I missing? Could you help me on it?
Thanks a lot!
John Poole
@jdpoole_gitlab
@lucasbracher If you installed the newest version it's probably incompatible with that project's version. You could install the version they used to get it running, but long term you'll want to upgrade to the new one.
Lucas Bracher
@lucasbracher
@jdpoole_gitlab I discovered what happened... sql script that installed the db named it on minuscules, while the code expected it in CamelCase... it was simple! Thanks! :)

Hi everyone, I want to create a unidirectional ManyToMany-relationship with JDL, but it complains that I have to set both field names. However, while I want that it is a ManyToMany relationship in the Database (i.e. a table), I want that it can only be accessed/managed from one side. Is there any way to do that?

Hello! I'm trying to fix a third-party developed application whose backend runs on jhipster and the frontend runs on ReactJS.
I see package.json on frontend that has the entry "proxy": "http://localhost:8080" that points to jhipster, but when I try to authenticate on frontend (´http://localhost:3000´), browser presents an error 404. I don't know if I need to solve it on backend or frontend. Anybody had the same issue?

Hey everyone !
i want to know how to add a new relationship with an existing entity let's say 'entityA' with a new 'entityB' without regenerating the existing 'entityA'
reason : is that because I have made a lot of UI and Backend changes in my code. (let's say for example if you have an application already on production so making a new jdl and regenerate it from zero won't be the best solution for this case ) any ideas please ?

No relationship between DTO objects - Why?
Hello!
I generated some entities with JHipster7 and the corresponding DTOs, whereas the entities have a direct relationship the DTOs don't. Am i supposed in my service class to go this way: DTO -> mapToEntiy -> getRelatedEntity -> whatever business logic i need -> mapToDto -> send response

Hello,
I am working on a social media style page and want to implement "Like"-Entities. That means the data representation of an user clicking on the like button on a post or comment. This are the relevant part of entities I already have:

entity ApplicationUser
entity Post
entity Comment

Now I have three ideas how to model the Like entity:
1.

entity LikePost
entity LikeComment

relationship ManyToOne {
    LikePost{post required} to Post
    LikeComment{comment required} to Comment

    LikePost{user required} to ApplicationUser
    LikeComment{user required} to ApplicationUser
}

2.

entity Like

relationship ManyToOne {
    Like{post} to Post
    Like{comment} to Comment

    Like{user required} to ApplicationUser
}

3.

entity Like
entity LikePost
entity LikeComment

relationship ManyToOne {
    LikePost{like required} to Like
    LikeComment{like required} to Like

    Like{user required} to ApplicationUser
}

I'd like to hear your thoughts on what's the best solution for my use case.

Is there a way to model something like this in JDL?

GaleryEntry{entry} to YouTubeLink
GaleryEntry{entry} to Image

GaleryEntry must either have a one-to-one relationship to YouTubeLink or to Image. Not to both.
