I need to use a different value on client side based on the environment.
On Java side there in no problem, is set on aplication*.yml. But how do the same on Angular?

Somehow all the entities are subject for ealstic search even if I specify just one of them. Is there a feature to prohibit this? Or is it a bug?

Hi, I'm testing Jhipster 7.1.0 (reactive=true), I have packaged the application in a jar and when I access it I get this error:

I have tried this solution:

and added
spring codec: max-in-memory-size: 20MB
but the error is still there. Any idea what should I do to fix it?

Hi, enyone has experience with JHipster 7.1.0 keycloak google auth setup ? I have issue with localhost. Which only allowed in google but at the login jhipster does redirect to keycloak:9080 which is resolvable with help of /etc/hosts.. but seems not fine with google
I belive right way to fix this make 'sign in' work to localhost:9080. But how to do so? I have vuejs frontend

The cache is set to hazelcast when creating the gateway, but if you check the .yo-rc.json file after creating the gateway, cacheProvider is set to no.
Below are the set values and the contents of .yo-rc.json.

I need one help on clearing all frontend code. I created a microservice using jhipster with frontend and gateway+ frontend:Angular. Now I want to remove frontend, what files are associated with frontend ? Deleting this src/main/webapp, deletes the frontend ? any advices ?

try creating a similar project and skip the frontend (there is an option to do so), then use Meld (free app) to compare both projects

can someone please provide suggestions, right now I have a Gateway, few microservice and Jhipster Registry. Now I see the routing is happening from gateway to microservices. I want to add user roles and check some custom scope before routing it to microservice, how to achieve this from high level ? I am thinking in ApiGateway SecurityConfiguration.java file, write custom jwt token validation ? or I should write Api Reverse Proxy, like another controller in gateway ? How usually custom scope is checked in API gateway ? I am using OpenID/OIDC user authorization. Any example links ?

Hello. I have an oauth2 (Okta) enabled gateway/microservice working where the gateway hosts the angular app and calls are being proxied to the microservice in the back correctly. Gateway has no database as I want all requests to be services by the microservice. I have set up a separate ApplicationUser entity to hold more data and all other entities in the microservice will be referencing this table. This keeps the jhi_user independent. My question revolves around how to intercept the oauth2 access token for any API call where the gateway is passing down the okta generated access token. Goal is to insert entries into the jhi_user and also create an entry in the ApplicationUsers table.

In a monolith, getUserFromAuthentication() would call syncUserWithIdP() which would populate the entries. Since the database has moved behind the API service, how can I go about accomplishing upserting the user entry?

Hi I created an monolithic projec via https://start.jhipster.tech and i downloaded the Zip file. But here is the .jdl file to add more entitys ? i got tables for User etc quite standard. But where are they defined
?
What will happen when i am adding an jdl ? with entitys but without the user ? will it delete that ?
Martin S.
@wurtzelsepp
how can i add relationships to these tables in jdl
Alejandro Matos
@amatosg
it won't delete tables. JDL will help you managing your entities and their relationships, but it will never delete

Hello friends, someone around here would be kind enough to help me with an example of how to perform communication between microservices via rest api. Jhipster Gateway no longer uses feign client and that has complicated things a bit for me.

Hi, does anybody know how to deal with these warnings?
