Public Disclosure of an Industry-Wide vulnerability impacting the JVM ecosystem

Thankfully, if you are using just JitPack, you aren’t vulnerable to this as JitPack only supports HTTPS to download dependencies. (Thanks @jitpack-io for doing this!!) But if you are using other artifact servers, go check and make sure they are all using HTTPS as well.

Send this to your companies dev-ops people!

Want to take over the Java ecosystem? All you need is a MITM!

Hey there, I have a gradle project with many submodules which have submodules of their own. Is it possible to use JitPack with more than one level of submodules depth?
Jayr Motta
@jayrmotta

I have something like this

root:
..service:
….users:
…...api:
….accounts:
…...api:

I want to import from another project only users for example, which according to gradle it’s named service:users. In that sense the path would be “com.github.myuser.myrepo:service:user:-SNAPSHOT”, right?

But it’s not working though :/

Hi, I have problem with at jitpack.io since today. If I'm trying to "Look up" for https://jitpack.io/#eu.roebert/iufs it gives the error No access token. Yesterday I'v moved from Cloudflare back to my old DNS provider, but the TXT entry look correct to me: https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=txt%3agit.roebert.eu&run=toolpage

What do I wrong?

JitPack.io
@jitpack-io
Hi, with the DNS entry that project resolves to https://gitlab.com/iufs/iufs
Is that correct?
roek
@roek_gitlab
Yes
Now it works again :D

Hi,
Is it a GitHub repository? There is an option in project settings:

Another option is to sign in on https://jitci.com and add the repository there

Hi, I'm not receiving any log output for failed builds when using a custom jitpack.yml file.... Is there any way to see log output for failed releases? It seems like the builds get triggered lazily when requesting the pom file but there is no build.log file anywhere to be found
Bogdan Ilisie
@bogzer
Also, using the same CI custom build commands in the CI tool doesn't yield any failures

@jitpack-io, what is the default path for Java 9 jdk?: /usr/lib/jvm/jdk-10 and /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64 seem to be the defaults for Java8 and Java10, but /usr/lib/jvm/jdk-9 does not seem to work (I am trying to reproduce this PR (jidesoft/jide-oss#32) that specifies an absolute path for JDK9 in pom.xml
Tiago Ferreira
@tferr
In case you are wondering, the PR is a smart hack allowing jide-oss to be build for different JVM's (which in turn is required to handle a bunch of Swing/FX changes that apparently occurred after java8)

Hi there, I want to use old ndk version. So I prepared that ndk in my repository. I found this issues: https://github.com/jitpack/jitpack.io/issues/1776#issuecomment-408866131 and I want to change ndk.dir path, but not work. Do you have any ideas?

Hi guys!
I'm pretty new to JitPack and I've got an issue uploading a library from a private git repository
Everything is working well until I try to import this library in my project
Error: ERROR: Unable to resolve dependency for ':app@release/compileClasspath': Could not resolve com.github.rdlh:xeno-sdk:0.5.
Oh, it looks like jitpack just didn't built my yesterday's builds ..
