    Hi there, we've been using shadow jar and it totally works! Now we have this new dependency which is implemented as a native library. Is there a way to include the native stuff in the shadow jar? If not, are there any hints how to make this as easy as possible?

    Hey John

    Hello, could anyone help me?
    I'm using gradle version 3.3, this is the script:

        dependencies {
            classpath "com.github.jengelman.gradle.plugins:shadow:2.0.0"
    plugins {
        id 'java'
        id 'jacoco'
        id 'maven'
        id 'findbugs'
        id 'com.github.johnrengelman.plugin-shadow' version '2.0.0'
    shadowJar {
        transform(com.github.jengelman.gradle.plugins.shadow.transformers.AppendingTransformer) {
            resource = 'reference.conf'

    An got an exception Error:(15, 0) Could not get unknown property 'shadowJar' for task set.
