@Taglar When you say

is there somewhere a tutorial to work with MySQL or psql

– do you mean interacting with these in general, from Python? The skill I'm building ATM is backed by a database, but really there's nothing special about that ;) it's just like any other Python app backed by a DB! :D

@Taglar Re the second part of your question - most people don't know this but actually, a custom type you create is not limited to the values you provide. So one option would be (depending on # of schools) to create a SCHOOL type, and give it a list of a few hundred, then create utterances like:

SchoolAddressIntent Where is {school}?
SchoolAddressIntent What's the address of {school}?
SchoolAddressIntent How do I get to {school}?

––and so on. Then, you can just provide a few hundred school names from your database (depending on how much other data you have for custom types - there is a cap of 50k custom field values across all fields: this is an Amazon limit, not flask-ask's.)

@johnwheeler ah ok. Python, Flask, Flask ask are new for me and i did not know about the difference. So i'll try the python tuts now. The next step for me will be the DB and one intent with different values (value a + value c = speak out a + c) so i can build some complex results.
Thanks @chrisvoncsefalvay
Wrong first @ - long day :-D
