    I notice your ngreactgrid uses a true table structure. That will make it harder to PIN columns.

    Yes I anticipated that, it is something I will have to face at some point. However I felt that using table structures provided me flexible row heights/or fixed right out of the bat, which is something that really annoyed me with ng-grid
    And I figured if jQuery DataTables: https://datatables.net/extensions/fixedcolumns/ was able to implement it using the same structure
    I should be able to as well

    oh, let me go see what they do.
    okay, they have a different table in a different div with JS that keeps the scrolling up to date.

    I think that is the right way. But maybe having JS update CSS on the page instead of finding nodes and updating inline styles?
    Jose Garcia
    @josebalius
    Well I think the jquery datatables plugin simply synchronizes the scrollLeft and scrollTop?
    I already do almost the same thing when the horizontalScroll option is set to true

    ah.

    i have to sync the grid body with the header when scrolling horizontally
    So yeah that's the plan for that feature :)

    @josebalius I thought of the problem with the the pinned columns being in their own tables is their cell height will not be increased along with the other cells in their row.

    @getsetbro hmm interesting point, but i have a few ideas to get around this problem. I will have to try it out.
