@ysb33r cool
@ysb33r I spoke to some gradleware folks about jruby-gradle at JavaOne, I'm hoping to see if they can either help directly, or point us to some APIs or create new APIs for us to better integrate

we're both bummed that you're not in SF this week :)
I just heard today that my devroom proposal was accepted (https://fosdem-ruby.github.io/), so you have to come to FOSDEM 2015!

a colleague of mine is excited that you got the fat-executable-jar stuff working with a custom bootstrap script
that's the functionality he's been waiting for

Give it to him, so that he can break it :)

that's not bad
one of the things I'm planning to discuss further with the Gradleware folks today is the possibility of adding a rubygems repository type
and perhaps we can completely obviate the need for rubygems-servlets proxies
Schalk W. Cronjé
@ysb33r

that might be possible. I have been playing with writing my own repository type. I’ll probably blog about it, because I had to call a number if internal gradle objects to get it to work
Is Luke Daley from gradleware there? He’s the aussie.
