@ysb33r looks like this branch of yours has a bunch of old stuff from last year in it, I'm going to cherrypick and rebase our work together on the shared repo
pushed into issues/29-generategradlerb, I still have some work to do and some rebasing that needs to happen ebfore pull request

Great - I just reset my master branch to remove the junk out of there. Will check out your branch when I get a chance. Unfortunately I’m at meetups both tonight and tomorrow night.
Let me know when you are done

@ysb33r found some wonks with the getSourcFromResource that I'm fixing, not sure how to properly integration test this behavior though :(
rtyler @rtyler has been manually testing

for example: if you copy the bin stubs from the gem to META-INF/jruby.home/bin then jruby-complete.jar will just find them. probably need to tell the gem command not to create symbolic links when installing

this is in the jruby-gradle jar case I'm presuming, not in the JRubyExec case?
Christian Meier
@mkristian
Apr 14 2015 16:37
jar case yes. JRubyExec I do not know what this is
yes, not the exec. jruby looks at whatever jruby home there is for the bin directory

I'm not married to existing implementation inside of the jruby-gradle jar plugin, but I cannot speak for @ysb33r
I think provided the functionality is equivalent to today, we can definitely make architectural improvements
neither of us are nearly as profi as you with jruby :)

@ysb33r if travis says okay, I'll merge #105 and release it so I can unblock some internal engineering here
I marked the feature as incubating for now since you'll probably want to fix my shitty code xD

goddamnit gradleware, those assholes broke linkages to bintray without sending practive notice
so the last few releases have not actually been exposed via plugins.gradle.org

@mkristian you are probably right. The jar implementation was best efforts as known to me at the time,
