yeah, it works - but the amount of stuff I have to do to get it to work on Appveyor and Travis is pretty painful.

@ysb33r 1.7.20 has been released, I'm thinking about updating base just to make that the new default
lots of good changes in there

FYI just updated the jruby-mains version but was a bit to keen to push updated plugin - the jruby-mains-0.2.0.jar has not reach maven central :(

Why don’t you publish ruby-mains via Binary? (Or do you use the binary->mavencentrl sync)
Bintray...

I never used gradle until I started with this plugin. deploying to maven central is straight forward for me.

reviewing jruby-gradle/jruby-gradle-jar-plugin#38 has turned out to be a non-trivial task as my own clones of the repo are all messed up.

it would have helped if I did not accidentaly git pull’d base over my jar source
@mkristian I am seeing the following failure
com.github.jrubygradle.jar.JRubyJarPluginSpec > Building a Jar with a custom configuration and 'java' plugin is applied FAILED
    org.gradle.api.artifacts.ResolveException: Could not resolve all dependencies for configuration ':jrubyJar’.

 org.gradle.api.internal.artifacts.ivyservice.ModuleVersionNotFoundException: Could not find de.saumya.mojo:jruby-mains:0.2.0.

is this because the jar is on maven central ?
Schalk W. Cronjé
@ysb33r
May 05 2015 22:14
you mean is not on
Christian Meier
@mkristian
May 05 2015 22:14
it is there but I am unsure if that is the place where gradle or the plugin looks for it

gradle job looks for it on jcenter which will pull it from mavencentral
however, even using mavenCentral() still fails
I have just cloned jruby-mains and is building it locally

Ah!
you missed updating it to 0.2.0 in build .gradle
it now builds
Christian Meier

ah - ok
this is because there is no new resolve triggered on the tests ?
Schalk W. Cronjé
@ysb33r

no it is because the dependency was fixed to that version.
So you can either update the PR or I can merge and then fix it.
I just want to create a github issue of what still needs to be done before we can release the next version.

I will add it since this also triggers travis
