No panic yet, when I eas on the train I might have found the cause. Have not tested it yet, but I noticed there was an older version the plugin in myroot project.
Too late for me to change now, 2h to go to talk and I have a meeting coming up in between

@ysb33r okay, I hope it's not a present regression :/

OK. That seems to be the problem. Meeting finished earlier. Have some time to investigate in a coffee shop.
Prezzo went very well as far as I could see - no demo failures. Little Jruby snippet in there. Bearing in mind this was pitched at people who mostly do not use Gradle, but would like to know more about it.

wish i had some examples of loading actual jars (and not just gems) into a jruby-gradle project..
for some reason, having way too hard a time doing that heh.. it downloads em, but jruby can't java_import them
do you have to require "path/to/jar" in the jruby script, for it to load them?

it depends on how the Ruby is being executed

with JRubyExec

if you're using a self-executing jar, the load path and everything should already be set up and coordinated for you
for jrubyexec the classpath needs to be set, let me dig up an example

ah, maybe i should give the self-executing jar a try then.. whatever works

jrubyexec is fine
that's really it, that's a property inherited from JavaExec
that will ensure that the things in that configuration are on the classpath for the spawned VJM
anyways, I have to bounce, I'll be online much later :)
