wouldn't be justifiable for me to go, but we had a colleague at apachecon eu a couple weeks ago talking about it
groovy is kind of abused for pipeline <_<

he wasn't actually local either! :p
@ysb33r happen to know if you can get at the Converter object from within the extension's #process block?

I'm not sure becasue the block will be inside the Document object which does not actually know what the converter look's like

hrm
okie
making forward progress at least
I'm trying to basically make a block that allows the user to optionally define two syntaxes for accomplishing the same thing
and then have that render as one block
then I can exercise some CSS chicanery to hide whichever doesn't match the viewers preference

heh
well, this right now isn't an ideal approach, trying to figure out the best way to bend asciidoctor to my will so that authors will actually write both

basically, I am hoping that all sample code uses this block in the future, and provides both syntaxes when appropriately
but there's not a manner I am aware of for pairing blocks, where I would have two [pipeline] blocks
that are "related"

no
I would think that you could parse verything inside a single pipeline block and check that both exist
because you can process all lines before rendering

I'm thinking just hijacking smoe Groovy code comments is the safest way to deal with that
that way any PDF output, for example, needn't be changed
unfortuantely though, I cannot create a listing block because of those stupid lines that delete style above

yes
I don't know if it will help
For Leanpub I had to bypass the source-code highlighting of Asciidoc.
