trying to test out the 1.4.0 plugin, having trouble getting it to install. Keeps installing 1.3.3

got a gist of your build.gradle
[1.1.2,1.4.+)
doesn't that mean that 1.3.99999 will be chosen? that right hand paren?

ah crap, yes :P
I think so anyway.
Well, no, because it was using 1.3.3 when I had that as 1.3.+)

the plus is kind of mixing maven version ranges with gradle specific ones
which is weird
(to me :))
even plugins.gradle.org has 1.4.0, so not sure

Yeah, I changed it to just be 1.4.+, it's working now.

I was already forcing it to use jRuby 9.1.7.0, so updating to 1.4 just let me clean that up.
It's good to be up-to-date though
though you would have already been on that

MUCHO CLOUD
I'm hoping so

AWS is pricey
Azure seems more reasonable
apparently it gets better if you have an EA and commit to a certain level of usage.

I've worked with AWS quite a bit in my career
they say that..
but no
it doesn't

Oh, I was talking about Azure. I know AWS does the reserved instances thing, which is similar.
But yeah, it only adds up when you start spending serious money.

I need k8s for other personal projects anyways, so it's easier to delude myself that I'm saving money with this arrangement
I doubt I will be though :P

heh
It's good to see more competition in the cloud space, even if the big players are Amazon, Microsoft and Google :P
