This is awesome @AverageMarcus. really nice and clean. That image is going to ruin our PSI though ;).

really cool to bring in the data from meetup - I think generally the whole site needs updating (maybe making the blog content a bit less central), so I don't think we should worry too much about re-designing it at this point. Perhaps it would be good to have a hangout together at some point to work out where we can take it?

not yet sure how it'd work on mobile

as it smooshes the meetup stuff in once its fetched it all

@benfoxall
Mar 15 2015 17:40
yeah - that's something that I'd like to visit in a general site rebuild
Marcus Noble

it does still allow blog posts and keeps order
Ben Foxall

how do we get this deployed? Will it work with github pages?
Marcus Noble
@AverageMarcus
Mar 15 2015 17:41
so meetup posts are fit in between blog posts based on date
yeah
i've currently got it on my fork gh-pages but has a lot of images are pointing at /img rather than the sub directory so is a bit funny
in that they dont load :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
but i have created a grunt task that build the jekyll site, optimises and then commits the output to gh-pages

Also I've realised it is damn annoying to get ruby working on Windows in a non-mindnumbing way
One thing I did want to add was show who was at each event. There isn't a client-side way of doing it without exposing API key.
