Juan Pablo Solano
@juanpasolano
Not really... I've been soooo busy!
But you are more than welcome to make PRs
I'll be around to see them, merge and release
@Seafnox
Seafnox
@Seafnox
well, i start build ng-admin version
if i make it for some workable state i'll give a link
sajov
@sajov
@Seafnox hi, what does mean?
Seafnox
@Seafnox
ng-admin - it's a frontend without backend handlers
i already build config, views, models getting, objects getting
sajov
@sajov
yes, i know. i have made the suggestion to ng-admin above. what does it mean to sails-hook-cms?
Seafnox
@Seafnox
pretty and easy view if i made it, i think :)
@juanpasolano is maintainer, and if he'll wants to get me and my code, then he will
I'm just a third-party Developer
sajov
@sajov
hmm. i’am not sure. I have put ng-admin pretty easy in front of sails REST. Thats why i ask why sails -> sails-hook-cms -> ng-admin
Seafnox
@Seafnox
sails rest is not secure
Juan Pablo Solano
@juanpasolano
Yes... ng-admin is awesome
sajov
@sajov
now i got it :-)
Seafnox
@Seafnox
i build frontend fo ng as singleton
Juan Pablo Solano
@juanpasolano
I actually had a branch for the readme of this project suggesting the use of that. But I figured not everybody is interested in angular these days.
Seafnox
@Seafnox
and it's work fine
My field promise find to me react-based frontend for admin panel
Juan Pablo Solano
@juanpasolano
yes... and having a front-end framework doing the UI is a looot easier than sails/jade/jquery
And I think keystone.js is moving to react... if they didn't already.
sajov
@sajov
i quit with ng-admin. I have made 90% of my need’s even custom view’s and i do not want it any more. I start to build my own riot-crud
Juan Pablo Solano
@juanpasolano
Sure... but It was a great place to start for you, right?
I built this project because my freelance works needs something simple to plug and give to the client. So I prefer if I can spent the least amount of time doing a CMS
sajov
@sajov
me? yes of course i almost adapt the whole config style from ng-admin to riot-crud
sajov
@sajov
the react version does not have all features of the angular one
Seafnox
@Seafnox
well, then why not angular?
@sajov what is riot-crud?
sajov
@sajov
i dont want to invest that much time. even the version 1 and 2 thing. I love to have small and combinable tool’s that why i gave riot.js a try. I will publish riot-crud in a view day’s and will let you know
Seafnox
@Seafnox
ok
i will do same with my ng
sajov
@sajov
@Seafnox riot.js is a new kid on the block. It’s small and i like the way how you can keep your module html, js and styles together
based on that i’am developing riot-crud which is inspired by ng-admin :-)
Seafnox
@Seafnox
@sajov do you have a link to riot-crud?
challenger532
@challenger532
Hello, any one has an idea about how to prevent the admin from accessing without logging in first ?
René Ras
@reneras
@challenger532 Have you figured it out ?
You can definitely solve that with policies: http://sailsjs.org/documentation/concepts/policies
Seafnox
@Seafnox
@reneras @challenger532 for now this project cant use policies, so not you cant get access without login
Chatto von Terpa
@Chatto
the gook will render
lol
lololol
thats a bad typo
you should fix it
upMKuhn
@upMKuhn
Is sails 1.0.1 supported?
I get an error when trying to get to the admin panel :(
WARNING: Something seems to be wrong with this function.
It is trying to signal that it has finished AGAIN, after
already resolving/rejecting once.
(silently ignoring this...)
there is also a request from the panel for: "localhost:1337/..." ^^

@stuk88

Hey guys.. I've rewritten the hook and added a lot more features (including associations and more)
Please check out my version:
https://github.com/stuk88/sails-hook-cms

Hoping to get some feedback :)
