    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    Yea.. I just .. somewhere .. probally in the solution file.. something is probally set.. somewhere.
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    when I create new project with your Git provider VS does not give me an option to add it to source control
    with standard git provider it does
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    no init on the bottom?
    What version of visual studio do you have?
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    no such checkbox - add to source control
    2015.3
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    Oh yea ignore that
    after you create the project look at the status bar
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    project created (not source controlled).
    here is what I get in status bar
    blob
    but your plugin is actually working!
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    Select that git SCP
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    blob
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    What do you use for screen shots?
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    Greenshot for screenshots
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    Lightshot was just not working to take a picture of that.. odd
    Ok. so.. something is you solution is saving the plugin.. ... is there a .sou file somewhere?
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    .suo ?
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    yea.. that
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    as usual it is in .vs folder
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    blerg.. sometimes if you have upgraded from a older vs there is one hanging around
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    not my case
    BTW what checkbox "Sign off" actually mean?
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    Ha.. had to look that up myself
    at first
    it's a git feature..
    Someone signs off on a commit or something
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    ok, nm
    BTW (again) is there UI way for Push, Pull, etc. with your plugin?
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    Well.. not directly .. it uses external tools.. BUT... I was thinking for v 1.7 adding that
    I mean you don't have to leave visual studio.. Tortoisegit is what I like
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    yes it is necessary
    thanks for the help!
    although your avatar gives me shivers
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    all setup then? So what do you think of it..
    Yea.. Andre is much cooler than me :)
    Konstantin Erman
    @konste
    I will be looking at it further after putting down the current fire :)
    ttyl
    Jon Z
    @jzoss
    Yea.. stupid work... making me work
    jbestrom
    @jbestrom
    @jzoss I'm having to jump back to VS2K13 again and I know we touched on this before and you created a DL for me to get this to work in 13. Is there a way to get a patch I can apply to the source to get it to work in 13, or what I should change. I know the manifest needs to change but don't know what after that.
    jbestrom
    @jbestrom
    @jzoss nevermind I think I got it working. Was missing some stuff in the xaml files.

    @Mech0z
    Is this the git integration that is shipped with Visual studio?
    Yann Duran
    @yannduran
    @Mech0z No it's not, it's an alternative to what's shipped with VS
    ghlouwho
    @ghlouwho
    New to this. Currently, when I add a solution to source control, it creates a repository in the solution folder, instead of a main GIT repository. Will this add on do differently (I am not interested in storing\sharing in the cloud).

    @davidlfox
    does this extension support git stash save -p?
    looking for GUI support for partial stashing and coming up empty for VS 2019
