    One question about KNIME Server, which OS is preferred to install KNIME Server, Windows or Linux?
    Deborah Schmidt
    @frauzufall
    @ctrueden after my changes to scifio/scifio the build failed with a SocketTimeoutException. I cannot really see a connection to what we worked on (the tables). Any idea?
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @frauzufall Does the build have all passing tests for you locally?
    The tests download and cache some sample data from https://scif.io/images/
    We should figure out where it caches them, and add that to the Travis cache.
    Nevermind, it already is cached.
    It seems like https://samples.scif.io/test-jpg.zip is not working.
    Which would explain the timeout. And I think I know why it isn't working.
    Probably it was me being very stupid when I was working on servers a couple of weeks ago.
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    I am fixing it now; will restart the SCIFIO build once it is fixed.

    @ctrueden
    I had inadvertently removed samples.scif.io from our firewall rule for public websites. I readded it now, and it seems to be working. Travis job restarted. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    @ctrueden
    Yay, build fixed.

    I am not sure if I will make it back to the office in time to pick you up. It’s a ~7min Walk if not..

    @dietzc
    I'll be here
    and walk

    Thanks @stelfrich and @ctrueden for the updates on the pom/OpenCV issue, I will check that next week ;)
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @LauLauThom Based on my discussion about it with @stelfrich yesterday, he and I are planning to improve the version extraction logic a bit and also unify it more between scijava-maven-plugin and imagej-updater. If you don't hear back from us about it later, please feel welcome to ping again.
    @stelfrich Glancing at the hackathon room whiteboard, I see that our discussion this morning was exactly the topic written there. So we can probably check off / erase that now!
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @MarcelWiedenmann How can we move forward on the CompGraph / SciJava-Ops work? Which day(s) is best for you to pair on that? Who do we talk to about open sourcing it? Etc.
    Stefan Helfrich
    @stelfrich
    @/all There’s no lunch today. I am going to Edeka to grab something small. Anybody want’s to join?

    @stelfrich
    Let’s aim for 1PM!
    Marcel Wiedenmann
    @MarcelWiedenmann
    @ctrueden I should be available for pair programming anytime (except maybe Thursday morning/noon and tomorrow evening). We could even start today if you like.
    I still don't know about the open sourcing - maybe @gab1one follows this conversation and can comment? I'll also talk to @dietzc again.
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @MarcelWiedenmann OK. Tomorrow I will work with @stelfrich on the ImageJ/KNIME paper. Thursday afternoon would be great if you are confident you will be free. Otherwise Friday morning?
    Marcel Wiedenmann
    @MarcelWiedenmann
    @ctrueden Thursday afternoon sounds great :thumbsup:
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @stelfrich I probably will not be into the office before 9, but will try to be reasonably timely.
    Stefan Helfrich
    @stelfrich
    @ctrueden No worries!
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @stelfrich ETA 10:00 or so. Sorry for that.
    Stefan Helfrich
    @stelfrich
    @ctrueden Again: no worries ;-) I will always find some work...
    Marcel Wiedenmann
    @MarcelWiedenmann
    @ctrueden I'll arrive at the office at ~1 pm, we can start anytime then :)
    Deborah Schmidt
    @frauzufall
    @HedgehogCode @ctrueden I would like to publish a new version of imagej-tensorflow which would be 2.0.0 since there are new methods added to the TensorFlowService interface here. Any objections?
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    @frauzufall New methods require a minor bump, not major. So the version would be 1.1.0. Unless backwards API compatibility was somehow broken since last release?
    Other than that: I have no objection!
    If you are thinking that code implementing the interface would be broken by the addition of new methods: yes, this breaks SPI compatibility, but not API—which is code that calls into the library, but does not extend it. See here for an explanation of the difference.
    Deborah Schmidt
    @frauzufall
    Right, thanks for reminding me again, that's what I had in mind (code implementing the interface)
    Curtis Rueden
    @ctrueden
    My sincere thanks to @stelfrich @dietzc and all hackathon organizers for hosting a great event, and also tolerating me afterward. :smile:
    Stefan Helfrich
    @stelfrich
    You are always welcome @ctrueden (not only “tolerated”) 😊
    Which extends to all of you, btw!
    Tim-Oliver Buchholz
    @tibuch
    It was a fun hackathon! Thank you KNIMERs! and all participants!
