@StephanHoyer I just found out that my performance bottleneck was mithrils diffing algorithm, not browser rendering. The browser handles 1000 cards pretty well, but mithrils diff will hickup on it on every "click". I now used { subtree: "retain" } and it's buttersmooth again. Guess I now have to find all the cases, where a redraw is needed.

@StephanHoyer
@der-On Mithril-admin :clap:
Did not watch the code in detail, though
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
Thank you. I'll hope to work on it soon again.
I'm still working on the new board. It still has some glitches, that's why I wasn't able to showcase a video demonstration of it yet. It hopefully will be ready next week so I can show.
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer

It took more time then expected but here is the preview of the new issue board

@der-On
Just fixed the SSL Certs for Chrome on Android devices.
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
what's the status @der-On
waffle sucks, we need replacement
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
a couple fixes and user testing of the board will start with a handfull of users. I will contact you.
Did you got my newsletter?
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
BTW we use let's encrypt with success
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
oooh. you have to explain it to me someday soon
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
the new years one. yes
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
yeah. so the board is almost done and has some bugs left I want to get rid of before testing
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
Our admin has done it. He has better insights I think
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
I need to talk to him
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
FYI: yesterday just migrated kopa.io to a metalsmith static site
it took not more then 2 hours. I really start to like static site generators.
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
have to bite back a nasty comment :)
awesome to hear :P
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
@StephanHoyer yeah yeah. I'm talking about the public site, not the app itself. The app will run on its own subdomain I guess.
But it decouples public site and app and that is what I wanted to achieve in the first place, while making the public site super simple.
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
What's the real problem keeping both in one app
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
maintainability and complexity

@ginfuru
is there a roadmap of features? -- I dig waffle.io and how it's smart to move issues to in progress when i create a new branch inside of my repos. That kind of workflow would be AWESOME!
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
Hi ginfuru. I guess that kind of behaviour is somehow controllable in waffle.io?
Could you explain in detail what happens/should happen?
Then I'll definitely put it on the list.
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
If you open a PR that conantains fixes #1234 it puts the ticket #1234 in prgress and assiciates the PR with the ticket
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
@StephanHoyer thank you.
and you can control in which column those tickets go, but by default it uses the in progresscolumn?
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
@ginfuru @StephanHoyer added this as an issue: #11
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
How is it going
any chance that kopa will be released any time soon?
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
@StephanHoyer Sorry, just came back from vacation. We are working hard on releasing kopa beta in Q4 2016.
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
can we have a sneak peak ;)
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
sorry not yet
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
still doing this?
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
Yes
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
Great to hear. Any timeline?
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
@StephanHoyer I've stopped anouncing any timelines. ;)
We are close to a public beta, but still missing some critical features for it.
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
🙈
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
Yeah I know.
Stephan Hoyer
@StephanHoyer
Still using mithriljs?
Ondrej Brinkel
@der-On
Yes. Also I now use React at work since 1.5 years and have looked into Vue.js and preact I still prefer mithril due to it's speed, size and simple API.
