i searched the document like this:
 results = await kuzzle.document.search(
                'test19',
                'tracking',
                {
                    query: {
                        match: {
                          "name": 'INDIVIDU_1'
                        }
                      }

                },
            );
but result is always 0
is that normal?

@Aschen

@fmilonas You can user the docket-compose down command to delete the containers and their associated storage

@ibstelix You have to set the mapping of your "name" field to "text" if you want to be able to do a match query.

We just release the beta version of our new CLI, check it out ;)

@ibstelix
thank @Aschen i did it but still same ... i had to create the mapping before saving documents ... i did the mapping after saving the document

@xbill82
Hi @ibstelix if your field type is text I'd suggest you to try replacing the match condition with match_phrase_prefix and see if it works
Ibrahima Gaye
@ibstelix
thanks @xbill82 it worked after i created all the mapping

@Aschen
@ibstelix You can add the param size to your request to get more documents
@shawub It's not possible for the moment but this is an interesting feature. Can you describe me your usecase so I will propose this feature in our product workshop
(Actually you can subscribe to newly created user event but only on the backend plugin side)

@prijindal The version 3 and 4 are compatible with Kuzzle v2 (Note that version 4 is still under development and not released)

Version 3 is on:

  • master
  • 3-dev

Version 4 is on:

  • 4-dev

Hello all, I'm new to kuzzle loving it so far but am wondering where can I find data modeling tutorials/examples. Is there a best practices guide on how to model data using a simple example so I can wrap my head around it. - Thanks in advance
Ibrahima Gaye
@ibstelix
Hello dear @ll; is there any way to delete collection from kuzzle_admin_console or update the mapping ? Thanks
Adrien Maret
@Aschen
Hi @MackyBwoy22
We do have a mapping guide and an Elasticsearch Cookbook but no advanced example on how to model your data.
You can search for resources about NoSQL document databases to go further.
https://docs.kuzzle.io/core/2/guides/cookbooks/elasticsearch/introduction/
https://docs.kuzzle.io/core/2/guides/essentials/database-mappings/
@ibstelix You cannot delete collection from the admin console by now. It will be available in the new version soon.
You can still update it though with the top right menu near the collection name
You can use kourou to delete your collection: kourou query collection:delete -a index=your-index -a collection=your-collection

Hello, I just have a simple quick question. Does the latest Android SDK client support Kuzzle v2? I get an incompatible SDK client error.

Why so many dependencies?! Elasticsearch, Redis, Node.js, Python - can we use the extra dependencies only in special cases, when we really really need them?!

Wait a sec, is kuzzle written in JavaScript?!

Hey kuzzlers, I’ve been looking at https://github.com/kuzzleio/kuzzle-plugin-sample-custom-policies. How would you apply this custom policy only to specific collections rather that all. For example have certain collections that have documents that are private to customers and other collections the are readable by all

Hi, I m working with iot devices which sends data in a raw format (not json) via http, should I write a new protocol to handle that? or am I stuck?
smets boris
@smetsboris_gitlab
@shawub hope not too late, you could just filter the collection in the pipe if (request.input.resource.collection === 'OnePrivateCollection') { //do some check if (request.context.user.profileIds.indexOf('authorised_profil') !== -1) { //deny request } }
smets boris
@smetsboris_gitlab
