Anyone want to join me writing some Clojure web apps at hackthetower.co.uk tomorrow ?
I have only really dabbled, but want to create a few websites as nice looking demos.
I will probably start by going through the basics and using ring & compojure
Not sure I am brave enough or will have time enough to do ClojureScript just yet, I want to start with something simple so I have the basics well implanted in my head
I'll also look at http://modularity.org/ and maybe Pedestal
Any other frameworks that are good for newbies in the area of Clojure webapps ?

Ah, that was the other one I was thinking of. Yes, I've used Luminus Web briefly and it seemed pretty straight forward, using some nice libraries. Reminded me of WebNoir when that was a project and not a library. Thanks @rockBreaker
I played around with this luminus web project a while ago, https://github.com/jr0cket/budget-app-clj, was planning to create a web based salary & tax management app when I find the time

@frankiesardo thanks for the heads up about spacemacs. If nothing else I may borrow some of the icons they have used for the mode-line. I pimped my mode-line, but spacemacs seems to have a few extra bits
I use EmacsLive, so Clojure is already there, however it seems pretty easy to add Clojure to spacemacs. @frankiesardo I'd be interested to know how you get on

ok, now we have a tic-tac-toe in clj and cljs, with all the game logic in clsx.
and it has an unbeatable brute-force AI to play against.
first move is pretty slow, especially on cljs.
so still some room for improvement :)
