Hey everyone, we want to use React + Relay on our mobile app and GraphQL on our backend. We're hosting our GraphQL endpoint behind API Gateway and we wanted to make the app sign the requests with user's Cognito credentials to let API Gateway to handle authentication. Has anyone here done that? I will probably have to re-implement Relay's network layer, right? If someone has followed this path, can you share your experiences?

@marcelocbf I’m using this in my app
@marcelocbf if you need both Anymous and logged users re-implement Network layer can be a painful process.
Any reaso to use Cognito?

Hey @rturk , not a specific reason. I just don't know better option. I'd need both unauthenticated and authenticated users which can log in socially or using my Cognito User pool. Would you recommend something else?
@rturk What are you using in your app? Signing requests? Is there a better option than re-implementing the network layer? I also thought it would be a pain 😥

Once authenticated My server generate a send a JWT to the cliente. I works like a charm.
The pain with unauthenticated and authenticated is huge.. at the end of the Day you’re actually developing two Apps...
We have a single login view.. only authenticated users can use the app. This makes things much simpler..
