@denysdovhan Re: imperative statements. Less, like CSS, is an declarative language. Sass is an imperative language, so the evaluation of the two is vastly different. That said, Less can loop upon evaluation, and can evaluate mixins conditionally based on "when" guards.
@denysdovhan Re: plugins - I don't think there is much yet.
Also, there's really no such thing as "native loops" for CSS preprocessors, since they're all just evaluating text and doing something with it.
