Thanks @M-Zuber

@M-Zuber
Is it to early to say let's prep first-timers-only issues for 24pullrequests?
(actually half serious with that q)
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
Definitely can add lots of help wanted labels
there aren't many first timer bugs atm
at least there aren't many listed in the issue tracker
Mordechai Zuber
@M-Zuber
In some way not having that many bugs open is a good sign :)

Nice: gitter supports image dnd :arrow_up:
:arrow_up: is it just me or does the wiki table here truncate the last 2 columns for everyone? https://github.com/librariesio/libraries.io/wiki/Package-Managers
Mordechai Zuber
@M-Zuber
On phone they are hidden, but I can scroll the table to the left and see all columns
David Corking
@dcorking
@M-Zuber hehe - on desktop chrome there is a scrollbar below the fold - that I didn't see until your suggestion made me look for it :blush:

Hi there,
it seems libraries.io is having troubles detecting the right last release .. leading to some false out-of-date notices ... see this project for a live example : https://libraries.io/github/faktiva/php-redis-admin

I already have reported to the guys of PHP-CS-Fixer and I have double checked my composer.json .. AFAIK there should be an issue in libraries.io ...

Anybody has some reasonable explaination before going to open n issue on GH?
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@drAlberT I'm just about to take my dogs out for a walk, will check it out when I get back

@andrew
what's the latest version isn't missing? https://libraries.io/packagist/faktiva%2Fphp-redis-admin/1.2.1
AlberT
@drAlberT
I'm referring to the out-of-date dependencies of this project ... AFAIK they should not be outdated ..
look at php-cs-fixer (libraries.io erroneously tells version 2.0.0-beta is the latest), moreover it tells symfony/debug 3.x is the latest one (for composer.lock analisys), but composer.json says that required version is "^2.8||^3.0" .. so the used version version 2.8.13 should not be marked as outdated, being the latest available release for 2.8 tree

hope to have been clear now .. sorry for the english
AlberT
@drAlberT
@andrew .. any hint?
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
Sorry didn't get chance to investigate yet, thanks for the extra details
Can you open an issue on the libraries repo so I don't forget to look at this tomorrow?
AlberT
@drAlberT
Sure, will do tomorrow
AlberT
@drAlberT
@andrew done librariesio/libraries.io#877

I haven't forgotten about OCaml OPAM, but I still haven't got off the ground floor yet. (stuck on making an HTTP server. Maybe I'll try package parsing and circle back to the web service part.)

Is @olizilla still on the project? I ask because I'd like to know his inspiration for the entertaining fantasy references in README.md .
