@hatim I reinforce what @wallento said - between FOSSi and Embecosm we'll make sure you can get to the UK. I hope you can come for the whole week Monday - Monday, so you can join ChipHack. You will almost certainly need a letter of invitation to get a visa which we can organize.

@wallento in that time frame (4-11 sept) i will be stationed in patna, bihar. the closest airport is PAT (airport code). i must add it is one of india’s most poorly maintained airport so for sure i will have to board a flight first to new delhi (DEL) or mumbai (BOM).

BTW, @wallento a longer layover in DEL will not be an issue. i know of an arrangement that can get me a free admit into one of the lounges at the airport so i can work and could also rest

i reached my college this morning. had left pune (my home city) day before yesterday

(yes it takes ~36 hours by train to get to college 😑)

i have mailed my dean regarding ORConf. hopefully he will agree to see me tomorrow so i can explain my position to him. i am guessing he will need a letter some time so i will let @wallento know well before time when it is required

Since ChipHack and ORCONF are in the UK, we'll provide the letter of invitation for you from here, which you will need to get a visa. I suggest we provide that for you immediately, so you don't need to wait.

@hatimak This is really annoying. I deleted your old key, so how have I got it back again. I don't suppose you have it in a public repository and have failed to revoke it? My key cache is updated from public repositories.

Hmm looks like your old key is preserved as subkey.

@jeremybennett i am really really sorry for having caused this inconvenience to you. there is indeed a copy of it on public repositories and around a year ago i lost the private key along with the revocation certificate. so i have failed to revoke it. i accept that it is a failure on my part and that my actions are causing you inconvenience. i am very sorry.
