Hmm, this is weird: My multi-project templte works fine, but I can only use it once in a solution (I'll try if it has something to do with a bug in the wizards, but can't do that right now...)

So, doesn't have anything to do with the izards (as in second time not working). If i close VS and then try again in same solution, it doesn't work either

Hmm, something seems goofed: I had to do the same change to template-builder.props to get my item templates recognized....

@carlokok Yes, for Website projects please use this method to create your template: https://github.com/ligershark/side-waffle/wiki/How-to-create-a-project-template-%28old-technique%29
You can ignore the note at the top of that page, as far as I know Website projects are the only thing that we have not updated to use the newer method.

Wizards can create files and many other things.
A wizard is implemented in code and you can do whatever you need

I'm a newbie so this might be naive. I created a scaffolder with two templates. Now I need to deploy it, so I built it and installed the vsix on another machine where the setup runs , the extension appears in the extensions and plugins ,but doesn't appear in the new scaffolded item window. What am I missing ?

@AbhirajPadhye_twitter Try searching for the name of the template in the search box of the Extensions And Updates dialog. It may just not be in the folder you expect it to be

Sorry for the delayed response @RandomlyKnighted .It isn't a project template, rather an item template that appears under the new scaffolded item. It creates two files from the specified class,precisely a Controller and a View. By two templates, I was referring to the two .tt files I have got .
Although I have got it working for now.I was missing the Copy to output directory option. I had posted this right with the thanks message , somehow just the thanks message got sent .

Im just getting started with sidewaffle. I want to make a template out of 3 projects ("Core" - a PCL project, "Core.Tests" - a CL project and "Droid" - a xamarin android project). However I can only add 2 of my 3 projects using "add -> add template reference (sidewaffle)" - the "Droid" project does not show up.
Can i make it show up or somehow manually add the Droid.csproj file to my VSIX project?

okay nevermind restarting visual studio made it show up :S wierd. Oh well
