Srepfler Srdan
@schrepfler
you know what’s another challenge?
in maven you have that plugin which aggregates multiple sites
if you have a multi module project
:D
Martynas Mickevičius
@2m
Uff. Maybe that maven plugin can aggregate from an arbitrary folder that already contains html files?
Then you could point it to docs/target/paradox/... directory
Srepfler Srdan
@schrepfler
we’ll see

@2m Just curious, did you use a tool/script to generate the credits table in the release notes? Or just do it by hand? (I like it)
Martynas Mickevičius
@2m
I wrote a little project that does it: https://github.com/2m/authors

Hi all
Gergő Törcsvári
@tg44
is there any option to force script headers if sb uses my paradox plugin? Or I should document it?
Enno
@ennru
I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "force script headers". Can you explain?
Gergő Törcsvári
@tg44
we already "solved" the question here: lightbend/paradox#293

hello everyone! I'm new to Paradox and I seem to have a problem with the char encoding. I'm getting <?> in the output whenever non-ASCII characteres are present. My .md files are of course UTF-8. I see there's an issue forcing the use of UTF-8 for input lightbend/paradox#99. I'm on Windows... is there a chance that there's a problem with the output?
image.png
that's the output I get
and here's the input
image.png
if I open the resulting html in Notepad++, it infers ISO-8859-1 and I see the correct characters. Furthermore, if I convert to UTF-8, then it is correctly displayed in the browser.

@rpiaggio
I'll do a PR

I'm actually having trouble doing this, struggling with sbt plugin cross compilations, help would be appreciated: we are using paradox through sbt-site. Our project uses Scala 2.11 and sbt 0.13.17 (for some reason plugins are searched for Scala 2.10). sbt-site uses version 0.3.2 of paradox, so I branched that version locally. I was able to cross build paradox, but I'm unable to get sbt-site to cross compile into a sbt 0.13 plugin...
could one of the maintainers fix this simple bug and make release please? also a sbt-site using the new version would be needed... I'll create an issue

lightbend/paradox#306, thank you!

Sbt 0.13 support was recently discontinued.

Hi all
Simeon H.K. Fitch
@metasim
Does anyone have an example of using sbt-mdoc with Paradox?
Martynas Mickevičius
@2m
@/all 0.5.5 is on its way to Maven Central: https://github.com/lightbend/paradox/releases/tag/v0.5.5
Elijah Rippeth
@erip
Is it possible to serve scaladocs using paradox?
Enno
@ennru
You'd want to combine it with sbt-site https://www.scala-sbt.org/sbt-site/api-documentation.html
Elijah Rippeth
@erip
@ennru you've had good success with this? We have just moved to paradox from a JS-based SSG and the scaladoc generation happened in another step. We found that our scaladocs were being wiped out by paradox -- I'm excited to hear about sbt-site
Hopefully this gets us around that!
Also, thanks for the link
Simeon H.K. Fitch
@metasim
What does sbt-site bring to the table that sbt-paradox can do alone?
Is sbt-site necessary anymore? (for Paradox users)
Martynas Mickevičius
@2m
I find sbt-site really useful when the site of your project consists of several different sources.
For example paradox and Scala API docs.
Then I use sbt-site to put all of the different sources of the docs to one site.
Simeon H.K. Fitch
@metasim
@2m Thanks for the thoughts... that actually helps, as I'm using sbt-unidoc and forgot that the merging with Paradox happens through that.

Hi. Are image size hints (GH flavoured markdown according to this) not supported? Like this doesn't render the image for me:

and how can I add a css fragment file? (without creating an entire theme directory)

@/all Paradox 0.6.4 has been released, this contains a fix to ensure that the links rendered by javadoc references are compatible with the javadocs generated by JDK9+ (which don't use frames anymore). https://github.com/lightbend/paradox/releases/tag/v0.6.4

I wonder if we should update to sbt 1.3.0, as it seems this would require downstream projects to use sbt 1.3.0 as well (sbt/sbt#5049). Since those can be projects the produce sbt plugins themselves, and may not be ready to require sbt 1.3.0, perhaps we should wait as well? WDYT?
