    Hi guys. I know that you use(d) Yjs for the richtext collaboration (though I can't find it anymore). Just wanted to let you know that I just recently published a new version that is worth having a look at (see here). It runs very stable, and benefits of the new re-write of Yjs. Just let me know if you plan to upgrade your version.

    Hello @DadaMonad , yes we use yjs for the rich text editor of hubl.in, sources are here: https://ci.open-paas.org/stash/projects/OM/repos/awesome-collaborative-editor/browse . We will upgrade for sure, is the API fully compatible, or are there any changes ?

    Thanks @chamerling for your response. At the moment react-native is more interesting for me since it's the real native code. I will take a look at easyrtc to see if it's possible to use it in react-native. I will keep you updated if I have any progress.

    I'm sorry for that..
    I know that you implemented a custom connector. You have to adapt it to the new module. You can use the code for the webrtc connector as a reference (there are just a few changes).
    Asides from that, there are just a few minor changes. Just read the documentation again.

    Btw, my friends and I are making a platform to let experienced programmers give a remote talks on the open source tools they are using. Check the link: http://remotetalks.com This project is just by our interest and non-profit. It would be awesome if anyone could give a talk on how openpaas use its technologies or even openpaas itself. Please let me know if you guys have interest on that. :)

    @DadaMonad ... RTFM we will :)
    @DadaMonad are you still working for veetings ?
    Kevin Jahns
    @dmonad
    Wasn't supposed to sound like that xD I changed the way how you instanziate a shared object. The short tutorial our homepage will make things clear ;-)
    No I'm not working for veeting anymore.

    @MichaelBailly
    @DadaMonad so you met our friends of xWiki at the Fosdem ?
    Kevin Jahns
    @dmonad
    @MichaelBailly No, I wasn't able to participate in Fosdem. Should I know them?
    MichaelBailly
    @MichaelBailly
    Oh, so it wasn't you that did a yjs talk ?
    Kevin Jahns
    @dmonad
    There was a Yjs talk o.O
    I did one last year. But not this year
    I just checked, my collegue Istvan Koren went to Fosdem. Maybe he talked with your friends :)
    MichaelBailly
    @MichaelBailly
    ah you're right that should be him. I can tell you they discussed about using virtual dom to sync rich editor data amongst peers

    @dmonad
    I see. If you ever see them again, feel free to drop my contact information. I'd love to hear from them :sparkles:

    @tboerger
    Hublin is comparable to jitsi-meet, right?
    But it's working without a video bridge? How does it scale?
    Thomas Boerger
    @tboerger
    Damn, there is no chat and no screensharing?
    Stephane Colson
    @s_colson_twitter
    Hi @tboerger , there is a chat now available on https://hubl.in but no screensharing for the moment
    Thomas Boerger
    @tboerger
    @s_colson_twitter cool. any plans to also integrate screensharing?
    there are plans to integrate a tool like jitsi-meet or maybe even better to integrate hubl into owncloud with an app :)
    Stephane Colson
    @s_colson_twitter
    @tboerger sorry I don't know the roadmap for this feature depending on webrtc and browser integration of the screensharing functionnality. I don't know how jitsi works, but with hublin the challenge is that we don't ask (and don't want to ask also in the future) any plugin installation in the browser, and we don't save anything server side, it's fully a peer2peer videoconference system
    Thomas Boerger
    @tboerger
    ok… a friend of mine saif that the p2p video doesn’t scale compared to a video bridge. do you have any experience to scaling hubl.in?
    Stephane Colson
    @s_colson_twitter
    we are limited to 9 attendees
    Thomas Boerger
    @tboerger
    oh… ok

    hello!
    i have looked everywhere to find some information on how hubl.in performs encryption. can anyone point me to the right direction to find that information?
