v1 is working for me but when it comes to v2 I have problems
it says no allowed
I try to get the users which liked a tweet
                        var tweetResponse = await userClient.TweetsV2.GetTweetAsync(tweet1.tweedID);

Hi everyone...I am very new to using tweetinvi (like one day new), as well as APIs in general, and am having trouble implementing a specific feature into my program. I want to change my profile picture of my twitter account using tweetinvi, and I am struggling to get it working. The method I attempted was to POST to the json url using the User.Client.Execute.RequestAsync() method, but it would not let me upload the base64 image string because the text was too long or the request header was too large. I could not really find any online resources or any other ways to change the image, and I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction, or tell me if this is even possible with tweetinvi currently!

I'm subscribing to a filtered stream and adding tweets to a list if they meet my criteria however I keep getting '403 Forbidden' on the AddMemberToListAsync() method after a few minutes.
I've configured RateLimitTrackerMode = RateLimitTrackerMode.TrackAndAwait; for both the user and app client and my understanding of the docs was that's all I should need to do?

A breakpoint in:
userClient.Events.WaitingForRateLimit += (sender, arg) => { Console.WriteLine("*******************************"); Console.WriteLine(String.Format("{0} is awaiting {1}ms for RateLimit to be available at {2}", arg.QueryRateLimit.ToString(), arg.ResetInMilliseconds, arg.ResetDateTime.ToString())); Console.WriteLine("*******************************"); };
never gets hit?

@linvi I was trying to get all of an account's tweets using the timeline iterator, but it stopped after ~2,800 tweets (they have over 15,000).
Any reason this is happening? The code is exactly the same as in the documentation.
(Is there also a way to get a media timeline iterator or is this not a thing?)

Hey guys do I need to do pin authentication for my tweeting bot every time I run the application?

Hi, first of all, thanks for this amazing library! I'm already using it to power a bot written using F# https://github.com/vhogemann/FSharpDataBot

Now I'm writing a second one, and I'm struggling to figure out how to get the list of replies to a given tweet, can you help? Thanks!

Twitter limits the number of tweets you can receive from an account. Though from the back of my mind you should receive 3200 tweets.

No you can save the authentication token when the authentication succeeds.
You can then pass the credentials to the client.
Learn more about it here: https://linvi.github.io/tweetinvi/dist/credentials/credentials.html

This API does not yet exists. The Twitter DEV team talked about supporting it in the API V2 but this has not yet been released.
You have 2 options here. Using search. Using a stream and storing all the tweets in your own db in live.

userClient.Events.WaitingForRateLimit += (sender, arg) => { Console.WriteLine("*******************************"); Console.WriteLine(String.Format("{0} is awaiting {1}ms for RateLimit to be available at {2}", arg.QueryRateLimit.ToString(), arg.ResetInMilliseconds, arg.ResetDateTime.ToString())); Console.WriteLine("*******************************"); };

For this code to get hit, you need to have made enough requests in the last 15 minutes to have exhausted your rate limits.

Hi

To use V2, you need to have registered and requested special permissions on the Twitter DEV website.

@linvi Hey it's been a while, but I got a question about tweetinvi 4 if you still take those.
Is it possible to provide credentials when uploading media? I'm in a situation where my application has 2 pairs of credentials and both could upload media
But at the moment I use the static Auth class to set credentials (i haven't found any way to upload media through an IAuthenticatedUser or regular user)
I also can't seem to provide credentials as a parameter when uploading
linvi
@linvi
I would strongly suggest to use the v5.0 which would solve this problem.
Though what you need is to create another thread and set the credentials there. There might be issues if you use async/await though.

I see, thanks for the reply
Will take some time to migrate over to v5 cause but it's something I definitely plan on doing, just don't want to break stuff in my application whilst doing so :)

Has there been any news regarding Fleets?
Last time I looked into it, Twitter did not yet put it on their roadmap with regards to API support.

@linvi If you have a running IFilteredStream, and you want to add one or multiple new user ids to said stream, do you need to recreate the entire stream? Or can you just stop/pause the stream add the new id(s) and then start the stream again?

Hello there. I needed support for Timelines (API V2), so I forked the repo and added the required code there. I also sent a PR to the main repo.
Now, I need support for the Ads API
I plan to work on it now. I'm not sure if adding support for the Ads API is something that makes sense on Tweetinvi. Maybe, I should create a separate package.
What do you think?

@josiasal I would be very keen for another member to help me out building features in Tweetinvi.
Ads API is something I have been looking at for a very long time and I would be very happy to do this together.

@varKeytrap I have written a very extensive documentation on how the Webhooks work in the documentation here:

https://linvi.github.io/tweetinvi/dist/account-activity/account-activity.html

Let me know if this helps.

Hello, good evening.
I made it through the reading of the user from the Twitter in the first step but the tweet itself seems to fail. Mind anyone helping? Thanks in advance.

Hey Guys!
Is it possible to get the ID's of those who favorited and also those who replied to a specific tweet that is not associated with my authenticated account? i.e. I would like to point to a tweet and retrieve all of the id's who retweeted/liked/replied. Thanks!!

Hey im sorry if im being an idiot but I have an existing OAuth flow in place in my app (native app scenario) where I get an access token for a user, so I have no secrets in the app just the client id and the current users access token, but the TwitterClient seems to require far more credentials than the underlying twitter API actually requires.

So am I able to use this client with a PKCE style auth flow? (i.e I already did the auth and just want to use this client to call endpoints with my token)
