@did I've been messing with getting this gem of extra filters working in production and I'm hitting a dead end. I hate to be a pest but a client is eager to get their site up.

hi @jordanthomas
send me the link to the git repo of your gem
(sorry you already did it but I’m a little bit overwhelmed)

@did I understand, I appreciate you taking the time.
In short I'm trying to get some of Rail's activesupport exposed to Liquid.

looks good to me
how do you reference it in your Rails app?

@did In my locomotive liquid templates I have a few instances but generally they look like this:
{{ now | end_of_month }}
For example, assume now is 11/28/2016 12:00:00; I'm expecting end_of_month to return 11/30/2016 11:59:59but it returns the original now value as though end_of_month doesn't exist.
As an aside that's what the filtertest method is for in my gem, I was trying to determine if these were being loaded at all. As far as I can tell they are not.
Here's my related Gemfile entry:
group :misc do
  # Add your extra gems here
  # gem 'susy', require: 'susy'
  # gem 'bourbon', require: 'bourbon'
  gem 'locomotive-liquid-extras', git: 'https://github.com/jordanthomas/locomotive-liquid-extras.git'
end
