hi @SuperSchek, thanks!
if things are not clear, feel free to improve the documentation
btw, the code is very verbose in the auth site template
for instance, I might end up moving the code here https://github.com/locomotivecms/site-templates/blob/master/auth/app/views/pages/accounts/sign_in.liquid#L29 into its own liquid tag
I’m open to any suggestion

Would be awesome with an example to e.g update account data with the actions api :o Just to showcase that a user can edit their name in the profile :)?

@marthings @did I am working on a website with a full register, login, edit area for users
i can share some examples when I am done
already tested a lot of the authentication functionality and it works like a charm. Once I have some suggestions I will let you know @did

@did can you maybe elaborate a bit on the smtp settings? From what I understand, the auth mailer will be looking into metafields.smtp for the smtp details?

Just a question about the auth demo. Its looks like im not able to have a content_type_template.liquid in accounts in the auth demo. I thought it would be cool to list all users and path_to to their profile while the me.liquid lets the signed in users edit their profile. When i add content_type: accounts in the yaml-header of accounts/content_type_template.liquid me/sign_in/forgot/reset displays a 404. Any ideas why? Maybe its not supposed to work?

:-)
let me see
@marthings change the position of your accounts/content_type_template page
make it greater than the highest position of the other pages in that folder
does that make sense?

@marthings

It did work but I cant say it makes sense to me :)

ah ah :-)
the Steam routing system takes the page with the lowest position if 2 pages have an identical route
for instance, account/me and account/* (content_type_template) are similar

I see. Now it makes sense although I would never figure that one out I guess, but then again I’m just front-end/designer so thats fine for me especially when there is this awesome gitter chat :) Thanks for a quick reply! My evening of exploring-fun-stuff is saved
