Ricky Grassmuck
@rigrassm
Not for downloading packages, Ubuntu uses apt-get
DereckR
@DereckR
i just installed yum
Ricky Grassmuck
@rigrassm
and the names of the packages themselves may be slightly different
DereckR
@DereckR
never mind that didnt work lol
let me spin it up again
Ricky Grassmuck
@rigrassm
keep in mind this will need to have ports 80 and 443 open
DereckR
@DereckR
on the website?
Ricky Grassmuck
@rigrassm
and youll need to shutdown your webservers
DereckR
@DereckR
what do you mean?
Ricky Grassmuck
@rigrassm
no, to get the certs. Letsencrypt runs a web server and needs access to those ports. your domain name that you purchased needs to point to the IP address of the VM you are using to generate the certificates on. Once you get the certificates you can put things back.
DereckR
@DereckR
so i need to point domains to the aws instance temporarily
Ricky Grassmuck
@rigrassm
Correct
DereckR
@DereckR
thats probably why stupid thing wouldnt work before haha
Ricky Grassmuck
@rigrassm
make sure you can hit port 80 and 443 from outside too
DereckR
@DereckR
on my network correct?
Ricky Grassmuck
@rigrassm
From the internet
basically, lets encrypt is a webserver so it has to be setup to accept outside connections.
which is kind of the point anyways

Nice work adding the deny feature!!
Jamie
@tidusjar
What does the debt feature do? (Other than deny requests)?
loken
@lokenx
It merely marks it as denied with message if wanted. We don't go in and remove stuff from the downloaders or anything--it's just to let people know instead of just never accepting it
Daniel
@SmallwoodDR82
Hmmm noticed the available data from sonarr is not filling in anymore. Any ideas?
GeezusTx
@GeezusTx

Hi, Can anyone tell me the difference between the Plex Request - Meteor Version and the original Version? Why should i run Meteor over the Original?
PlexRequests.Net <- VS -> Plex Request - Meteor
Jamie
@tidusjar
@iXuz88 Meteor version was made before the .Net version ;)
Michael Writhe
@pironic
is the meteor repo the same code as the plex-requests just coded to work for meteor?
Michael Writhe
@pironic
looks incomplete the more i look at the source code for that.
so i think it's just an old alpha that never made it to fruition.
Jamie
@tidusjar
Hi Michael. I'm not sure, you'd have to ask Lokenx who is the developer for both
GeezusTx
@GeezusTx
Ombi is the replacement for both anyway.
Steve Williams
@dualznz
is there a diff with ombi and plexrequest ?? still same actions
Sean Vreeland
@seanvree
@dualznz PR was converted to OMBI

Hi, I have just set up PlexRequest on a clean ubuntu 14.04 machine, however after installing everything, I cannot access the site, anyone know what the issue could be?
PotatoQuality
@PotatoQuality

@JakobRnnow_twitter
