Luc
@luc-github
on 3.0 yes
ffnull
@ffnull
yep
2.0
Luc
@luc-github
ho good to know
yes therrmistor will work on not davinci board
here bed termistor data for DUET im using R25: 388403 Ω
β: 3670 K
Luc
@luc-github
system to use on a 12864 display + encoder.
is it not text display
yes because board is reprap board
ffnull
@ffnull
my friend porting duet fw to stm32f4 cpu. all works. he adds support for 12864 stock lcds with encoder. but now sources is closed still he ends portings. but its works great
Luc
@luc-github
xyz modified the resistor to not allow standard FW and for the usage of custom table
12864 is not display text 16x4
ffnull
@ffnull
in duet board you can use any thermistor. stock davinci board had normal connection for this termistor, so im thing there will no problem in porting
the issue is not thermistor - it is board
you can use normal table - but you need to modify the davinci board
ffnull
@ffnull
so, what to do?
another way - porting smothieware. its RTOS too
Luc
@luc-github
smoothieware is not for other MCU at all
there are some porting on going but I do not know if Due Mcu is part of it
ffnull
@ffnull
klipper?)))))))))))
Luc
@luc-github
I do not know well this one - last time I have checked it was not supporting remote commands to print so did not followed
In all case everything can be done but no solution is a small piece of work done in couple of hours ^_^
ffnull
@ffnull
klipper right now is supports almost all cpus and any lcd
Luc
@luc-github
Ho I see now they support remote SD commands
ffnull
@ffnull
so. Lets do some!
Luc
@luc-github
I have ckecked before because I was contacted by one of their dev to give feedback - but actually was just promotion ...
Luc
@luc-github
I may add klipper support then in ESP3D - I need to setup a system to see

@jorythompson
Total Noob with a DaVinci 2.0 (I think) printer - what are my options?
The first screen says DA VINCI 1.0
INFO says SYSTEM VERSION 2.1.2
There is a J37 jumper on the back motherboard
Luc
@luc-github
sorry what is your question ?
Jordan R Thompson
@jorythompson
Can I use any version of this firmware with this machine?
Luc
@luc-github
you have a dual extruder ?
2 extruders or 1 extruder ?
Jordan R Thompson
@jorythompson
I believe that I have 1 extruder (1 filament?) and one fan (how can I check this?)
Luc
@luc-github
if you have only one Fan/extruder/filament then you have a Davinci 1.0
if you have a J37 then it is a Davinci 1.0a
Jordan R Thompson
@jorythompson
Makes sense, the first screen says DA VINCI 1.0
So I can use the latest version of repetier?
Luc
@luc-github
so yes you need to compile according these settings to use this repository FW or use the corresponding binary in release
do not use the original repetier it won't work
Jordan R Thompson
@jorythompson
I didn't realize there was a pre-compiled binary... where is that located?
Luc
@luc-github
in release of github
Jordan R Thompson
@jorythompson
I have only found the source code for it here:https://github.com/luc-github/Repetier-Firmware-4-Davinci/releases/tag/v0.92.10rc4. I guess that is close enough
Luc
@luc-github
yes binaries are in zip
Jordan R Thompson
@jorythompson
Awesome! Is there a quick install guide (or even a slow-install one :-)
Luc
@luc-github
did you checked the readme and the FAQ (linked in readme) ?
Jordan R Thompson
@jorythompson
Found it. Thanks very much for your help!
Luc
@luc-github
have fun ^_^

How badly can I mess up the printer if I get the wrong firmware installed?
