William Narmontas
@ScalaWilliam
nice. And you know how to publish
you'll learn to *
Lucas Gautheron
@lucasgautheron
honestly if I put some more months into it, it would be a viable book
Lucas Gautheron

William Narmontas
@ScalaWilliam

Lucas Gautheron
@lucasgautheron

@lucasgautheron
i've added download link to http://dev.cosmology.education/booklet/booklet.pdf on the website
William Narmontas
@ScalaWilliam
beauty is it's very domain specific.
being domain specific, easy to convert to anything and everything
there's xsl-fo.
also can render to pdf
Lucas Gautheron
@lucasgautheron
thats very nice
I need to use latex as an intermediate for the PDF but that's fine because I need several latex features

aah
William Narmontas
@ScalaWilliam
it apparently supports some xml but I can't seem to find anything that is very clear.
hadn't used any tex a long long time.
Lucas Gautheron
@lucasgautheron
I use pdf tex quite a lot (for anything, documentation, reports, presentations) but i'm not really aware of the tex alternatives
William Narmontas
@ScalaWilliam
there are quite a few. Good to know your ecosystem so you use the right tool for the job : )
Lucas Gautheron
@lucasgautheron
Until now it was definitely pdf latex, but for this exotic kind of case I have no idea
William Narmontas
@ScalaWilliam
I'm learning Haskell atm, it's a bit different from what I thought
php - c - java - . - scala - .. - haskell
Lucas Gautheron
@lucasgautheron
I'd like to learn it but I'd have to find it applications, otherwise I won't commit into it x)
William Narmontas
@ScalaWilliam
yep.
my use case... know what language is best for what, why and how
Lucas Gautheron
@lucasgautheron
and what is haskell best for ? :P
William Narmontas
@ScalaWilliam
I'll find out first hand. They claim concurrency but I'm sure Erlang & Scala are better for that
