@nadar : I am missing the modules, filters, blocks, and in views the apps-modules maps. So the installation goes bananas. Where are they created? Aren't they missing in the github as well? https://github.com/luyadev/luya-kickstarter does not have any module?

@arjenmeijer the modules are loaded via composer in your vendor folder.
so you should follow the installation instructions: https://luya.io/en/guide

@nadar That is what I am doing, but something goes wrong.
composer update gives:
Loading composer repositories with package information
Updating dependencies (including require-dev)
Nothing to install or update
Mmmm...

Can you show me your composer.json and the config? Maybe create a gist.

But the message says your vendor folder is up to date. So the modules should exist in the vendor folder.

Missing Files: The kickstarter does not miss files, its a basic setup to create a luya project. Filters, blocks, etc. can be located in any module or application, so the cms module which is installed via composer to your vendor folder contains blocks which will be installed by runing the import command.
