in other words we do create the prod environment very soon, as its very easy to deploy (https://github.com/luyadev/luya-deployer) and then add "production data" in the production environment and sync back to your local env with the ./vendor/bin/luya admin/proxy command. (admin/proxy is available in dev-master)

@kmergen The deployer is only ment to deploye your project on the host, it will not transfer the database content. Just deployes your code and runs the comands like migrate, import, by default on each deployment
@kmergen The best practice is to always have the correct version on the dev, prep or prod enviroment and then sync those to your local environment. If you want to get your local stuff on your server, just do what @nadar said and copy the public_html/storage/ folder to your server.
