@mmmurf I could see needing it for a still if you are making videos. So an option would be to capture a video to a temp directory and then get the first frame as a base64 image of the first frame using react-native-media-meta.

@mmmurf It's also a bit faster to just write the video to the disk and have media-meta get and write the file/frame image it extracts to disk for loading later rather than trying to pass around/hold the base64 string in memory and load it into an image. At least that's what I've found through a very little bit of testing.
