hmm... I forked from machinekit/machinekit and pulled in latest changes in my repo few days ago... So yes - it is not exactly your branch.

IS it ok for you I try to sketch in sequence diagram how I (reading https://github.com/mhaberler/asciidoc-sandbox/wiki/Remote-HAL-Components document) how I understood info in this document and then you try to clearify certain items?
I downloaded this QuickSequenceDiagram editor here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/sdedit/files/latest/download?source=typ_redirect
And made something like:

no, because we cannot integrate changes into the automatic docs build process - this makes no sense since nobody will be able to change the diagram
use seqdiag like outlined here: http://www.machinekit.io/docs/documenting/diagram-examples/#seqdiag-sequence-diagrams

fine, but just curious - is that something urgent? I will transfer these documents to the website anyway

for:

  {rCompZmqSocket[sdf=324] -> "HAL Rcommand service" [label = "msg(component[\nname=\"motion\"])"];}

I do not see how can I annotate rCompZmqSocket to outline that rCompZmqSocket uses XSUB.
