    if it's a 500 error, then there's a log somewhere.
    If it's "half-rendered" you can also inspect the DOM to find out where the render stopped.
    And that may help point you in the right direction.

    debug.log contains only cron job info messages, exception.log contains previous messages not related to this issue. system.log contains just main.INFO
    admin panel is 200 without errors, half-rendered.

    At what point does the render stop?
    Check that in the returned document.
    And then, check your apache/nginx error logs.
    Because that's probably where the error is.

    i was re-deploying everything. Something has changed. Same results but now admin panel is 500

    If it's not a production app, I'd also suggest turning on php errors.

    DOM stops at productsOrderedGridJsObject for the dashboard
    Talking about js.
    Thank you btw, it's getting more clear now!

    It sounds like it is json_decoding something improperly.
    @gioamato the only thanks I ask for is a star on my repo :P https://github.com/graycoreio/daffodil

    I guess something is missing. Unfortunately the official API docs isn't much clear, they are missing the payment method requirement too.
    Can you paste me your working payload? (if you still have it).
    @damienwebdev nice project btw (daffodil)

    Hmmm, I'd have to go digging, as I don't know precisely where I have it.
    At best, it would take me a few hours.

    Are you running it against https://github.com/gioamato/docker-magento

    I'll surely get rid of this :)

    Yes atm

    Will do.

    It's a bit more effort to set up, but I know for a fact all the dependencies are right.
    So, its possible that your custom environment is missing a dependency.
    It is alpine based, so you may be unfamiliar with certain commands, but should ideally be esay to pick up.

    @gioamato
    Ok, thank you. Will try this.

    @gioamato how'd it go?

    Same results with your mage2docker environment

    @gioamato Very curious.
    Then, most likely you've found a deserialization bug.
    It's possible, though unlikely, that the deserializer is attempting to deserialize something it shouldn't.
    I find it a bit strange that you don't have any logs.
    Damien Retzinger
    @damienwebdev
    I would see if you could figure out a way to turn on the logs, and see what its erroring on.

    Hello,
    Could someone please tell me what is the Admin Store (with website id = 0)? If I go to the all store configurations all I can see is the (default) Main Website and Default Store View, where the website id = 1. When I am uploading prices through the API, I first requested a list of the stores using the StoreDataStoreInterface and I am using the Default Store View's website id to set the Tier prices and the Store Group Id for the base prices (both are 1 in a basic installation). However If I set the prices this way, I can't see them using the Catalog menu on the admin (I can't see the tier prices at all, but If I change the current selected store from the 'All Store' to the 'Default Store View', the base prices are displayed on the details page of the products, but not using the catalog listing page).

    What does it mean to have my tier prices uploaded with website id = 0 ?
    Should I upload my base prices with store id 0 too?

    @damienwebdev i used the logs from php-fpm container. As i said it was caused by missing data.
    The API reference is incomplete.
    On the dashboard the render was blocked durng customer name parsing, so adding "customer_firstname": "test" and "customer_lastname": "test" fixed the issue.
    For the order details, the render blocks parsing address data. So i think adding billing and shipping address to the POST payload will fix it.
    I personally think that it should work in this way:
    Passing customer_email or customer_id in the payload should "attach" the order to the customer, inheriting basic infos and the default billing/shipment address. If something required is missing from the customer (as the addresses aren't required to create a new customer) it should NOT pass a 200 response.
    Same thing would happen if the customer is missing at all.

    @gioamato Ah, interesting. I absolutely agree, request validation has been a problem since M1.
