    tbh I have a feeling these bookmarks are pre-"me using xbel instead"

    so I'm in two minds about whether I even want to sync them back up lol
    I think I preferred XBEL at the time because a) it felt the same as the KDBX file I use with various Keepass clients (and still do) and b) the Nextcloud Bookmarks app had no concept of folders anyway
    but b) is no longer true
    so maybe I should give Nextcloud Bookmarks another shot?

    both methods use the same sync algorithm

    well for now I've 'synced up' the bookmarks (that the older floccus got via the legacy option) to a new xbel file called... "bookmarks found on the nextcloud bookmarks app - probably from before you started using xbel.xbel"
    which sits alongside 25 other files containing bookmarks... all in a directory called "BOOKMARK AND TAB HELL"
    it's been like that for a while.. :)

    I don't understand how the nested accounts feature works, @marcelklehr:matrix.org. I have two browser profiles: a work profile and a personal profile. In each, I have a distinct set of bookmarks for both the bookmarksbar and the "other" bookmarks.

    I've configured the two profiles separately in the browser (by the way, the personal side also has "mobile" bookmarks).

    So, on the personal profile, I have: bookmarks bar pointing to /Personal/BookmarksBar, Other is pointing to /Personal/OtherBookmarks (and I have Mobile pointing to /Personal/MobileBookmars).

    On the work profile, I have: bookmarks bar pointing to /Work/BookmarksBar, Other is pointing to /Work/OtherBookmarks.

    The /Personal and /Work folders are both inside the same instance of a self-hosted NextCloud's bookmarks app.

    They are all "Yes" on the nested folders. Is that messing things up for me? I'm confused at how nesting works.

    Nesting is only meant to describe nested folders in your browser. If you had another account syncing both bookmarks bar and other bookmarks to some other server, then the question would be, do you want to include bookmarks from these other accounts (bookmarks bar and other bookmarks) in the higher order account, which is what the setting is for. So in your case the setting doesn't have an effect

    i don't want to sync all tabs between work and private, but it would be nice to look which tabs i have open at work/private and open them when i need them.
    1. Is there a way to look into the tabs of the other pc without opening all of them?

    Hi! I've just posted issue with the pCloud webDAV not working. Is there anybody using pCloud and having the same issue? floccusaddon/floccus#1291

    i installed floccus on two devices on : firefox and brave . But when after syncing : the folder structure of every browser is mirrored in the final output and so two folders with the same name and in the same relative section ends up in different parent folders . What is the solution or there is no solution

    the bookmarks from brave got transferred in firefox under bookmark toolbar section but i wanted all bookmarks to be under the same parent folder for example bookmarks menu

    You can select the local folder to sync in the account settings
