Hi @GiacomoP
I think the async should be fine, my guess is that it's the layout refernce
Giacomo Persichini
@GiacomoP
thanks, but after a few refreshes, open/close the console it eventually showed up correctly. Sometimes on my Chrome the marionette inspector either stops responding to clicks on views in the UI tab, or only displays the "timestamp" view in the UI tree. I found that when that happens I should simply close the console, refresh the page, then open it again and start the inspector through the button. If I refresh with the inspector open, it seems that sometimes it gives issues, not sure how to correctly replicate them though. Anyway it's all good, I thought I was having some issues in my code and how I organised things

@jasonLaster
@GiacomoP great. glad to hear
what are your initial impressions? is it helpful? What works, what doesn't?
Naftali Lubin
@maniator
Hey all -- how do I get this to work with a requirejs app?
Jason Laster
@jasonLaster
@maniator it's easy we have an FAQ page that walks through it
my apps are all require, no biggie
katelynsills
@katelynsills
I think I must be missing something simple, but the marionette inspector shows the data portion of my app fine, but under UI it only has "Timestamp." What can I do?
katelynsills
@katelynsills
Nevermind, found the FAQ and changed my main layout view to be named "layout". That worked :)

@dan-f
hi there. I'm seeing the same issue that @GiacomoP experienced - I'm using requirejs, marionette, and backbone. All the window.__agent.* values are set appropriately, but nothing shows up in my inspector. I've tried declaring my app's layout view as both the layout property on the app object as well as the rootView property. Unlike @GiacomoP I can't actually get anything to show up in the inspector.

@jasonLaster

@vineet-amuratech
Hello, I tried to use the marionette inspector today, but all its tabs are empty.
I noticed an error regarding the window.__agent.patchedBackbone not defined.
Even after doing the caveats part it was throwing the same error.
I later found that the agent is loading twice on page load, once with the correct patching and next time time with undefined.
Help needed pls.
